My Grandpa was a tail gunner on a B24 Liberator in the South Pacific as well. He received the Purple Heart. Never spoke much about it either. He was one of the greatest men I have ever known.

I learned this from a New York butcher 49 years ago. just took a break from my Buther job in Hollywood Florida. Thanks again.

Pro tip, if you're in the Broussard, Scott, Lafayette area, you can throw a rock and hit a great specialty meats and boudain spot. As for de-boned stuffed chickens, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Heberts Specialty Meats deboned chicken stuffed with jalapeño crawfish cornbread dressing

Somewhat unrelated, but wanted to pass along that I picked up the Fajita rub at the Buc-ees in New Braunfels last week and used it for the first time last night. Dude. Best homemade fajitas I've ever made. Looking forward to picking up other rubs! Well done.
