Max claims that there was something in something he ate, I'm assuming he means food poisoning or food made incorrectly. That's a possibility but look up TUF seizure or Cris Cyborg weight cut and you'll see how insanely difficult weight cutting is for them. And it's like this for everyone, they all cut as much weight as possible besides a few. It's also a highly scientific and precisely timed to make it as healthy as possible, otherwise you end up with people having serious health problems or even dying from it.
