Adhesive solar panels are not a long-term survivor. HEAT is the enemy of solar panels. They do best with lots of circulating air flow to lengthen their lifespan. That is why the adhesive version was pretty much abandoned by everyone in the know using them on their RVs and Travel Trailers. Instead, the ideal is to use hard solar panels mounted on brackets that are 3" off the deck allowing for sufficient air flow underneath the panel. This bracket attachment also makes for a simple replacement effort. Wait until to you hear from your first N41 owner when he/she needs their adhesive solar panels removed from the deck of their N41. Was this removal effort tested before you chose these solar adhesive panels?

Thanks for the very informative video. Really enjoyed listening to all the thought and analysis that went into this new boat. Fingers crossed there are still buyers out there after all the dust settles with the coronavirus pandemic. Given your new production partnership in Turkey, I’d be interested in more detail on the electrical system and options for temporarily adapting to 50Hz/220v while cruising the Med and rivers of Europe.

Great session. Thank you for taking the time and expense to do this. I’m in the vast minority right now but I only have wifi access - and that is limited as well - so watching the day after. But, if you could provide a wifi voice only access through What’sApp or (preferably...) LINE, so we could hear just audio, that would be great. Going on year 4 of full-time live aboard and 19,000NM of cruising on N4029. Your design decisions are spot on, even though the twins vs. single decision has some down sides. The “river system” capabilities are great, a big drawback on my N40, particularly with paravanes.

These boats are superb transatlantic range plus cruising through canals and rivers

The interior design is spot on terrific. Beautiful and functional. I would, however, miss a flybridge. To feel the wind and the sea and for handling in narrow places.

Not much seating looking foward while underway, but yes all trawlers need a flybridge,so slow, might as well have an outdoor experience

Confused: Web site says bridge clearance 11' this says 14,4". This makes a massive difference to us as the Newark on Trent bridge is 13'. In my experience 12'-13' is the official height of most European stone arched bridges. However, these figures are for wide barges and this narrow boat should make it under most arches.

So, would and could a classic spoke wheel be installed instead of a car steering wheel?
I love the wood ones even though they cost close to 3K lol.

Thank you for your comment regarding the audio. We agree on this side and in fact, we are very dissatisfied with the sound quality. Our IT guy is "on it" for much improved sound on our next webinar.

Asim Ayyubi I just like the idea of more than one sailing option plus lower fuel costs smaller fuel tanks larger water tanks for long term cruising and more storage

To get it to plane instead of putting 2000 horsepower engines in it just just keep the original engine you guys had for it which is the beat of marine 78 horsepower engines and just attach a couple of Pam rockets to either side of its hall

Could this be used on a single engine cruising, to conserve fuel and engine wear, while alternating the usage from one engine to another every 6-12 hours? Thanks.

I remember a few years back some friends and I were cruising on a similarly sized 1990’s Carver for a few hours... all I remember was the choking smell of diesel fumes getting into the boat from the exhaust/prop and that made me super nautious.
