I seriously can't believe we got this dude for so cheap and until 2028. Rob Pelinka is GOATED with this roster.
Lit. I was never into 3 star model type of team..always wanted that 1-2 punch combo...a guard and a big..it works for our franchise..winning multiple titles
Rob really redeemed himself after that Russell Westbrook trade.
I think he’s paid correctly based on his skill sets. He is a great on and off ball defender but his lack of offensive prowess, i.e., three point shooting and rive to the basket skills, makes him a double edge sword (and sometimes unplayable). Just look at the GSW series after game 1 and the nugget series. Hope he develops hiss offensive prowess this off-season so he’ll be a terrific, or atleast good, 3 and D guy

I can watch VANDO defensive highlights all day. Was never strong offensively in my high school days, but defensively is its own game of intuition and just heart/hustle which VANDO has everyday of the week. Just have to hone down offensively which he’s been practicing all summer and he’s well worth that bargain of a contract! 💪💪💪
Vando is our X-factor...plays his heart out, knows his role, hungry for improvement, expecting him to shoot around 35-38% from deep especially wide open ones..if he does that, we got him at a very cheap tag

Vando’s anticipation, timing and defensive IQ is one of a kind. Also the fact that he can switch is a really key asset to the Lakers defense
I've never seen a player play defense with his BACK facing the defender! And I'll never forget how he forced gsw to change their whole offense in the playoffs cuz of his defense on curry. This guy has to be the best wing defender in the league.

Great on ball defender and rebounder I’d like to see him in the starting lineup but he needs to work on his offense game, improve the corner 3 and improve on catching the ball in the paint and finishing

I totally get you but I think all the new 3 and D players we got will replace him perfectly if not for the better. Only thing I’m worried about is Curry because I think Schroeder plays some of the best defense on him so hopefully someone else takes care of the warriors in the playoffs for us so we don’t have too😂😂

This dude is a stud. And these highlights dont do near enough justice to how good he really is. Ive seen this dude get 2 blocks and a steal on the same play lol. Ive seen dude close out on a 3 then instantly go make up for his teammates blown defense chase off another guy from the 3, force them to pass in the paint then keave his guy to come and block the dude in the paint thag his man juat passed to. Vando is DIFFERENT
0:37 watch how Vandy looks over his left shoulder, sees his assignment coming around the screen, knows which way it's going because the screener telegraphs it, and starts sprinting to where he knows the ball will be a moment. Little recognition like that is what separates Vandy from guys who just work hard all the time, which he does.

It was always been the issue for our team every year..we never got our chance and reach full potential due to injuries...

Last year, if only DLo would have a score between 15-17 points, we could have won. There was no way The Heat could win against us.
Another problem is we know Bron is old, and after he broke the record, he was not the same. Prior to that he was a beast. You can't relieed on AD every game he dissappear, and it's frustrating to see that. This year would be totally different from Pelinka Gm of the year wow.
Whenever the other team goes on a run, Ham may send out both Vando and Cam to help put out the fire. I can't wait to see what those two will do defensively together.
