Would you possibly be able to do a video on how to access repeaters through duplex mode for transmitting further. I brought my xrs 330cob specifically for safety out in the bush as I'm by myself a lot, either cutting wood,4wding. So deffs need it to work if I have car issues etc. Would be good to get a better understanding of how to use the repeaters when I need help and can't get anyone in simplex mode. I'm no pro at uhf so I hope this makes sense. Trying my best to learn the it's and out's by watching RUclips and searching internet pages. Regards
So where are the videos with more info on voice playback and active mute??? 5 months since the release of this one 😩 Also, one gripe I have with location services is the selection box, it would be way more useful if I can dictate the shape of the selection, for example if I’m doing the sandy cape track here in tassie I want to select the area north to south but at the moment I can only select like a 16:9 window so I have to download 3 maps, kind of sucks how the selectable area is so small as well, just to do the north east of Tas is 10 downloads, would hate to plan a trip across the Simpson or the like.
Hello, i asked to design UHF system for a fleet include 20 vehicles and around of 40 person going on safari trip off the road where there's no GSM coverage. And the need the UHF system cover around 80 km. So what equipment should i choose and what design should i pick???
Hello GME, with the XRS Connect 370 if I was to connect an external speaker e.g. a 5 watt one, would that disable the speaker on the radio panel, I understand that the audio will still come through the remote mic as per usual.
Hi Callum, installing an external speaker to the unit would override and replace the speaker in the unit. The speaker in the unit can be disabled via the radio settings or via the app. Fore more information please check out the instruction manual on our website.
I have just ordered the 330CP UHF... wondering, is it possible to make it a permanent fixture with simply wiring to main battery. Also, can you get extension for the mic / handset?
Hi Darren, yes, you can wire your radio directly to the battery. We recommend adding an additional in-line fuse close to the connection on the battery to protect the wiring. We have a range of microphone extension adaptors, such as the AD008, as well as a range of vehicle-specific pass-through adaptors. Check out www.gme.net.au/au/accessories/ad008/ for more info
Hi Chris, we release a minimum of 1 major update per year. The first 3 have been Location Service, Voice Playback and Active Mute! We also release minor updates as needed.
Just had the XRS-390C installed and found the Bluetooth connection continually crashes or won't connect. I use an Android phone and the installer used his Android with the same issue. Reading the post below GME have a known issue and are not fixing it. Why promote a feature when it doesn't work.

@@mono0288 no not as yet , looks like it been a issue for a while, sugest save ya monie get something with out the Bluetooth as it don't work on Android so you won't be able to utilise the features
I personally don't need most of these features but good to know thay are there. Seriously can't fault this unit. Best available so far.

I’ve had my XRS 330 for over a year now and I still can’t do much with it. Great radio.. I just need a radio tech on hand to teach me how to use it!

Hi Katie, unfortunately not. The XRS mics are only compatible with the XRS units.
How many radio updates does GME put out? Is it like 1 a month or less/more? How many so far? Firmware updates are a favourite feature for me! Thanks.

Don't bother buying this radio if you have android 11 , as the APP don't work , so you cant customise it, or do firmware upgrades
