This machine is great for applique when you need to cut multiple pieces and you can scan in each piece. It does take a bit to learn and see what mat & cutting pen you need so that the fabric doesnt fray or so you don't cut the mat.

Yes it can. I saw that on another video. I will have mine to play with tomorrow and I will definitely be posting some videos about my experiences with it.

Not sure this is much different from cricut or silhouette. Will it color print and score too?

hi am very very new to scan n cut I bought the CM900 version am trying to see if there are any updates but when I get to the part were it goes on the Web page it keeps telling me cannot be found any ideas please also when I have saved workonmyusbstick then placed into the machine it shows up emptydoineedandifsowere can purchase a brother usb so sorry about thisbutireallyneedsomehelp and cannot find any were my machine

This machine is terible. Maybe usable by small kids for plaing with it.
