I grew up in woodbridge Georgetown village on Getty, lived in RipponLanding, I also lived in Dalecity, Lake ridge and right on Beech in Georgetown South in Manassas. In the late 90's early 2000's all of those areas had a bunch of bad spots or was a bad spot. It wasnt because of the Internet though. It was because people were really getting it in. In those days MS 13 was terrorizing. Alot of D.C, Maryland or New York people lived in these places as well, so it was a mix of many walks of life. Now I can't see any of these places being that bad.....not how a lot of these young internet peope try to describe it. I mean they've built these areas up tremendously. Nothing but nice and new homes, subdivisions and communities. What ever negativity is going on...its because you have too many young people listening to demonic rap and trying to immitate. You have too many young people quickly hopping on the internet and video taping themselves to look like a music video scene. These young people are extremely dramatic, which perpetuates this madness. I grew up in Dial up days. We didnt live life for the Internet. The Internet was just a convenient search tool.
Ayy Moe .. from uptown DC, moved out hoodbridge in like 2009, right behind Marumsko plaza (which wasn't a plaza per se) all DC dudes had relocated either there, pg county ,or Georgetown south out VA, money was sweet ASF.. and slim right ain't nobody from there..
