I'm not sure if you got high rows but the reason I say is because most of the time we go across the rows seem to tear it better than going down the rows, but that's just what most do
Andy, I’ve watched a couple dozen of your videos and I must say you’re *very* good at this. You’ve struck the right mixture of expertise, interesting content, and good-natured presentation. I always look forward to your next episode. Well done sir!
Andy, delegate --- I am betting Katie would be a superb drone operator... Good stuff Illinois. Was up there at Litchfield visiting on Veterans Day weekend. I have forgotten just how 🥶, cold is, WOW. see Y'all soon, Happy Thanksgiving!
Normally I am indifference to the drone cover music, but I did like it today. On a side note, I am thinking Lenney is old enough to become a big brother. Haha.
Hi Marty, Andy, Allie, Lenny and the beautiful Katie 👋😊👋, Andy dude you made my day at @20:05-20:07 Thanks dude, and it's another fun day on the farm and as always stay safe, stay awesome out there y'all 👋🤠👋, and Andy you Legend you have NFL going on, dude you are the coolest guy at least one of the coolest RUclipsrs I met online so far SWEET, I hope Lenny realizes this when he grows up lol 🙂
Andy... Do ya'll plan to add any additional storage bins and would adding more be big advantage on being able to pick & choose when to take your harvests to the commerical storage for sale?
I drove truck hauling from a corn field to where Coors beer keeps their sheep ( there mostly to eat the spent barley and hops) just north of Bolder. The corn was far heavier than the peleys of spent grain. I hauled some super heavy loads to those sheep.
Just as I learned about JD combines & the pre cleaner from my large subs list of farmtubers, devastators are all the rave for breaking cornstalks down. I’ve seen them on all kinds of combines too. Saves a lot of tires as well.
Harvest is 10x better to watch w/ Lenny cameos! Puts a smile on my face every time. And, if you’re nice I bet Ally will put “new boots” on your Christmas list.
Hey Andy just felt the need to comment on your vertical tillage and stalk sizing situation, I know you mentioned chopping corn head like you are considering it or leaning towards it, I hope you will also explore the possibility of adding Devastators to the corn head rather than replacing it with a chopping head, I know fuel usage is always a big concern which chopping heads take a lot more fuel, and I know a lot of people are happier with the job the Devastators do as opposed to a chopping corn head anyway.
You definitely need a chopping Coen head to help make your vertical tillage program successful. And spreading the residue out of the combine is absolutely essential.
This might be a strange question, but your old s780 the one you don’t have anymore. was the problem you had the hydro breaking? Or hydraulic related problems? We got a new s780 and the hydro blew so metal shavings went everywhere, we are not excepting it. Long story short we’re wondering if other s780es had that problem. Thanks.
The hydraulic pump on the stack that is responsible for moving the combine went out. There wasn’t any fragments in the system if I recall correctly. They also replaced the hydrostatic motor just as a secondary precaution. This was all led by Deere’s team in an effort to examine why a combine with 30 hours would quit like that.
what drone are you using I'm in the market to get one for my lawn care videos what one would be easy to use and would have good video for lawn care usage ? and great video
Hey Trippy, are you able to put any animals on your land to eat up your corn stocks to add organic compost to the soil. Or would worm casting juice help with the decomposition of the stocks Like your videos.
I want to know who Katie is? Is she your sister or cousin, because is running the other combine. She does do a great job. I can see you need more grain bin storage, but it is so expensive.
Andy, you are so funny. Did it occur to you, the combine operators might think its weird you are talking to yourself and filming? I think that's the reason they are avoiding you. Honestly, which members of the harvest team never watch your videos? They seem to avoid the camera and I bet they gripe about some of your comments about working with family. But, I bet they all watch to see what you are saying.
try old news paper for your window washin. keep rags to a min and news papers you can get any time and toss when your done.. or keep a plastic sack in your cab with you, "Walmart plastic bag"
I do enjoy watching your channel. Because, you are so close by. I live 15 mins. from Terre Haute, Ind.
We go to Terre haute occasionally. The Stables steakhouse is pretty good!!
I'm not sure if you got high rows but the reason I say is because most of the time we go across the rows seem to tear it better than going down the rows, but that's just what most do
Drone footage just keeps getting better!
We use a Salford 4200 on our soybean ground and a 5200 on our corn ground. Both have their purpose and best ground.

Thanks, Jim! Appreciate your viewership!
You were right, that drone shot was killer! Great video!
👍

Awesome Video and Much Love as Always Andy!!!
I can watch the drone footage w this music for hours upon hours!

My wife thinks the same thing 🤣
@@aTrippyFarmer uh oh 😂😂😂

A Yetter Devistator for your corn head might be helpful.

If that ear of corn you tossed into the grain cart plugs something up, you'll remember how it got there.
Lol

great harvest video. I will be lost when harvest is complete.
we vt after we are completely done with harvest
does better
Yeah some decomposition time would make a big difference. Last year we got behind with a bunch of rains, so we didn’t get a few fields worked.
Just as I learned about JD combines & the pre cleaner from my large subs list of farmtubers, devastators are all the rave for breaking cornstalks down. I’ve seen them on all kinds of combines too. Saves a lot of tires as well.

Ding Ding.... filmed Oct. 16th , Bills at Chiefs lol
That was a great game!!!
Hey Andy, great vid, you had me laughing at 530 this morning. I would like to see the actual construction of the land bridge
Howdy trippy enjoy your videos
Yes, outstanding job mate. So you guys just move to the next field and start combining... random after watching the case guys... lol
I'm looking forward to a Katie Calendar for 2023
Which is more fun Tilling the farm or Harvesting the crop
Harvesting is probably more fun, but it can get exhausting after a while!
I'm curious why u emptied the combines stopped so much. Great video 👍 👍
The disc works well, but not any better than a Salford 5200, it's just green !
I bet they are both priced pretty similarly. Nothing is cheap!
When are you going to do an episode dedicated to Katie?
I don't know If I will ever do an episode dedicated to anyone, but I plan to have her film some next spring.
Andy that is why you used a Vt Tillage In the Spring One Pass and done ready for Planting?
whats the name of that song Andy??? i love it. again a nice video!!!! thx
Great video, how many acre you're farm working on?
A few thousand!

@@aTrippyFarmer thanks.
Sailing smooth through harvest, awesome.
I just though about your 2021 experience, that was different!
How many days of corn you still have ahead?
It has been completely different. From this point on, there is about 6-7 more days of corn harvest.
what drone are you using I'm in the market to get one for my lawn care videos what one would be easy to use and would have good video for lawn care usage ? and great video
Yes it is, but what you pay, it should be good. Lol
Just to satisfy my own curiosity: are you farming yourself, or are you an employee on your dads farm? Love your vid's!
I am an employee that helps make management decisions, but I do not have the final say on most things.
Hey Trippy, are you able to put any animals on your land to eat up your corn stocks to add organic compost to the soil. Or would worm casting juice help with the decomposition of the stocks
Like your videos.
Are you almost done?
These videos are lagging behind quite a bit. We are done with everything in the present day.
I want to know who Katie is? Is she your sister or cousin, because is running the other combine. She does do a great job. I can see you need more grain bin storage, but it is so expensive.
You are right… new bin storage is ridiculously expensive. Katie is my sister. She is a few years older than me.

doesn't your sister ever get to run the new combine S780 even when your dad is gone ?
Zack Johnson is looking for a technical geek like yourself. You could work for him if your current gig doesn't work out.
Put devastators on the corn head on your own combines
How many acres does your family farm?
Little over 4000
Andy, you catch up to those elitist combine operators and remind them that without you they would come to a screeching halt. LOL LOL :):)
try old news paper for your window washin. keep rags to a min and news papers you can get any time and toss when your done.. or keep a plastic sack in your cab with you, "Walmart plastic bag"
✨ p̷r̷o̷m̷o̷s̷m̷
WHY DONT U JUST PUT A DIVERTER VALVE ON INSTEAD
I like the s780
Dixie chicks, very disappointing!
You & Your Dad Should Try & Get A Demo Salford Halo VRT
I've heard that Salford makes some great tillage tools!
