I loved the back and forth analytic breakdown between the both of you on this one. Questioning the answer/best & worst case scenarios 5:16 - 7:10. Salute, Shannon
Bayless trades on deflection and obfuscation in his "arguments" so relentlessly, I find it literally painful to absorb his diatribes. [And not even allowing for how unashamedly his rhetoric flips reflecting abject indulgence in "identity politics"...i.e. his point of view, all else being equal, flip-flopping dependent upon people involved in the situation, not the situation.] I'm only trying to watch these segments now...because "First Things First" has a new, later timeslot, so I'm forced to wait to be able to enjoy entertaining (and, yes, sometimes chaotic) bandying...but sans the high-handed tone Bayless always adopts when "projecting" his points of view.
"Damn them analytics. Analytics gonna get a lot of people fired!" Thank you Shannon! Sometimes good old fashioned common sense is good enough. Take the points and MAKE THEM score a TD to win. If they do they do.
You should almost always take the FD. Unless you are down 7. But then with 4 minutes left you still take the FD. Teams now try and outsmart the room. Take the points. Force the other team to get a TD to beat you instead of a FD to beat you. Stop listening to number nerds. They are killing almost every sport. They've killed Baseball. The HR is all anyone swings for. So everyone strikeout 3 times a game swinging for the fences. Why? Number nerds say a HR is worth more than a single. If a hitter goes 3-4 he was worse than a guy going 1-4 with 1 HR and 3 strikeouts.
@@larrylindgren9484 What are y'all talking about? You only take the points in that situation if you know worse case scenario a touchdown only ties the game. Had Ravens kicked the fg and Bills scored a td Harbaugh would've still got killed today. Cause the story woulda been how Harbaugh didn't trust Lamar.
Analytics dont take into account the players that are on the field at the given moment. The one replay of the interception shows what a gift Lamar's pass was for Poyer
They would have lost by 4 anyway...and to Skips point, "he's not going to throw a red zone pick year 6?" no? wouldn't be the first time he did that against the Bills. Also this whole segment about Lemar and Harbaugh. It's a shame that JA is so good, him spinning and stiff-arming a lineman doesn't even get mentioned or leading that drive, or the comeback, play after play, dime after dime in the rain. Lol. but Lemar's reckless tipped throw is the talk of the morning.
Browns didn't have to go for it on 4th. They should ran Chubb from 3 yards out on 2nd down instead of trying to throw it, taking a holding penalty and losing 10 yards. Dumb.
But then if they kick the field goal and the bills still come back and score a touchdown people will be complaining how they were at the 1 yard line and they have Lamar I can see why they went to try and get the touchdown U have one of the best qbs in the league rn and it’s at the 1 yards line
@@elijahrincon3586 Uh no, people would be criticizing the offense to failing to connect in the red zone before 4th down (as well as all the other mistakes they made), and the defense for failing to protect the lead.
Is Skip honestly suggesting Lamar should have thrown the ball away on 4th and goal with the lead on the line? That is ultimate 20/20 hindsight after knowing the play results in a pick. Had he done that Skip would be banging on the table saying give your guy a chance.
He's wrong about that part, but what he means is NORMALLY you'd think either A) we convert or B) fail to convert & now the opponent starts their drive where we failed (this time being the 2 yard line). That was Harbaugh's thinking, as he stated after the game. If Lamar's pass missed or was dropped, 99% of the time that's just turnover on downs, Bills start at their own 2 yard line. Instead, the one thing you couldn't allow to happen happened. Not only did you throw an INT, it was recovered in the actual endzone, giving them a touchback. So Skip was implying that under most circumstances, worst case scenario is just pinning the Bills against their own endzone. The INT changed that.
My problem with the game was if you knew the defense couldn't hold water, in the 3rd quarter they should have kicked field goals on every 4th down when they were in range, bc now you control the game it would have been 29 - 10 and now the pressure would have been on the bills to score at least 3 touchdowns to beat you, and you would have more drives in the 4th quarter but not scoring any points bc Josh Allen is gonna get a touchdown is stupid and shows just how incompetent the playcalling is
^ Agreed, people need to chill with the analytics. I get trusting Lamar with the ball but unless it is absolutely necessary or you’re trying to surprise the opposing defense there is no reason to not take the 3 pts. Which is practically free with J Tucker as their kicker.
Shannon makes the case for going for 3 so eloquently. Taking the points force the Bills to score, 6 to win or 3 to tie for OT. The percentage chance on that happening is probably much lower than getting 6 on a 4th down, especially when the Ravens were shut down on x and goal on 3 previous attempts
When your offence hasn't scored for nearly 2 quarters & you have the best kicker in the game you grab 3 points & then defend, this obsession with Lamar Jackson creating magic is putting way too much pressure on the man...it's madness
@@newagain9964 Funny how you are blaming Roman..... was it Roman who threw the 2 INTs in the 2nd half? Or was that Lamar? The point is: GSAM_DAD said it: There should not be an over-reliance on lamar. Stop trying to prove how great he is. Don't get sucked into all the culture wars: (trying to prove you can win with a black QB etc) Just play the game straight up. And when you play regardless of the race of the QB etc., you will make more impartial decisions as coaches: 4th and 2 or 1 is dicey even for lamar (Remember he had 4th and 1 or so in a playoff game vs. TEN 3 years ago... and again Lamar did not convert. So take the points - stop trying to prove how great lamar is.
They don’t like Josh Allen’s success because they were soooo wrong about him since 2018 and some people would rather chop off a leg before admitting they were wrong.
@@alexgrijalva9713 not necessarily if anything it was bills messing up too. Pick in the beginning giving ravens short field for easy score and singletery fumble mid field for another. That’s how the game got away quick. Buffalo made the right adjustments at half and stopped your run game made you one dimensional and then starting picking off passes forcing you into tough situations in the final minutes
That's because Skip didn't think he was going to be any good coming out of college... he "predicted" Baker would be the best QB in that class.. so for the next 5 years and so on he will be loving Baker and throwing shade on Allen

They damn near choked all of their games this season in the second half. It’s not just the “Bills defense”. They choked against Miami. They choked against the Bills. They almost choked against New England had they not gotten that fumble late in the 4Q. And they ONLY beat the Jets. It’s John Harbaugh and his playcalling/decision making. Their defense is obviously putrid. There you have it
@@newagain9964 The Ravens choked against Miami, Buffalo and literally almost choked against the New England Patriots had they not recovered that fumble late in the fourth quarter. The only team they didn’t choke against was the Jets. This is all on the Ravens from top to bottom. They have found different ways to lose games all season.
It’s early in the season this was a good wake up call for Baltimore hopefully Lamar is fresh late in the year I want to see good games like this he is fun to watch , Allen too
I agree with Shannon 💯 on this. It was dumb to risk going for it late in the 4th, on the goal line, with the game tied! Going back to last season, Harbaugh has blown multiple games by going for it on 4th smh
not true, the bills kicked the fg from the 1 after 2 kneel downs. they would’ve had 3 chances to punch it in from the goal line and would’ve gotten it.
@@kidthekiddo8996 You think the players weren’t down and gave up after that dumb decision by the coach . You saw how peters was angry. If ravens was up by 3 the bills will never kneel and rush to score. if the bills scored a td there will still be time on the clock for the ravens. Also that roughing the passer was a gift the the bills. Not going for that 3 points changed the momentum of the ravens players.
@@Strgb don’t have selective memory, peter’s didn’t explode until right before the fg was kicked, we don’t even know what he was upset about, everyone is just assuming what it was. 7>3 no matter how you try to slice it. the idea was for buffalo to start on the 2, but lamar threw a pick which made the decision look worse. what we should really be talking about (like skip mentioned) is the td they gave up before halftime, or lamar missing andrews in the redzone. i think either of those moments decided the game more than the decision to go for 2.
I think he made the right decision going for it. The Ravens didnt do anything in the second half and had no answer for buffalo. They blew a 17 point lead. You dont play for overtime, you play to win the game. If they kicked the field goal, its going to overtime. Josh Allen is making sure Buffalo at least gets a field goal. Score the td and and put all the pressure on Buffalo to bring it to overtime. Its 2 yards and you have Lamar. I say go for it.
IDK I'm a Bills fan and I like Harbaugh's call. Contextually, the offense your facing has just scored 17 unanswered points. The Ravens defense is not what it was when it had Ed Reed, Terrell Suggs, and Ray Lewis, and people still are acting like it's a top tier unit. I agree with Harbaugh when he said "I thought that would give us the best chance to win the football game." People have to play against the Bills and the Chiefs differently. You have to score points, and you have to score TOUCHDOWNS, not field goals. You can criticize the playcall all you want, but I thought going for it was a sound strategy. He's a great coach, he knows what he's doing. Sometimes it just doesn't go your way and that's football.
It was the right call. Don’t know what these bozos don’t understand that the defense is AWFUL. Josh Allen did whatever tf he wanted to do all 3rd quarter no way we were stopping them from getting a FG and tying the game if we took the 3 points. There was still 5 minutes left as well people acting like there was only 50 seconds left. It was the right call but execution with this team is always bad.
Your defense is bad but why don’t you test them, your not going to the super bowl with bad defense, the only way your defense is going to get better is to put them in positions to get better, you don’t believe in your defense why would you expect them to believe in themselves, you already have the mindset that they are going to score, like I get they are on a roll but like you can’t tell the future, give your guys a chance, ok they fail this is a early season game now we are going to figure out what’s wrong with our defense before it comes to games that really matter
Exactly man. I swear I be laughing when I hear these bad takes. Or reading through some of these comments lol most of these critics have never played football and don’t understand situational play-calling.
Agreed, just like I agreed with McDermott's call in Tennessee on MNF last year. Bills had a 4th & 1 inside Titans redzone. Game was 31-34 at that point. They could try for the 1 extra yard & get a new set of downs to go for a win, or kick a FG & play for OT. They went for the win, came up short & lost on the spot. It didn't work out, but I still agree with the decision to go for it instead of playing for OT.
I agreed with the decision. If the Ravens converted the 4th down then Harbaugh is a genius and it would be a different discussion today. He trusted Lamar like he should and they didn’t get it but you can live with the decision.
They didn't watch the game. Ravens blew that game, and everyone and their mother was screaming take the 3 points. The game completely changed earlier when the Ravens were in the red zone, and Mark Andrews got a pass interference penalty against himself. Then the Ravens had to settle for 2 field goas, then it was 20-3, then 20-10, then 20-17, and then 20-20. Bruh, take the 3 points!
Refs shamelessly kept Bills in that game in 1st half with that bogus OPI call on Andrews and no call against Bateman when he was almost tackled before ball got there. Fox was clearly in to keep game close and it paid off
@@truthbearer7891 bruv we’re you watching? When the ravens defense we’re dominating the bills offense Every 3rd down the ravens would make contact and wrap up the receiver before the ball got there and they called nothing I was actually pleasantly surprised that the refs were consistent for once, they didn’t call it the 500 times the ravens did it then they stayed fair and didn’t call it on Buffalo either
It's so easy to say he SHOULDN'T HAVE GONE FOR IT...after the fact!!! Truth is JOSH ALLEN IS A BEAST... Harbaugh knew DAMN WELL he was in trouble being up ONLY 3 with that much time left!!!
Going for it was the right call. It was unforunate it was intercepted but the Bills did exactly what Harbaugh was afraid of; Josh Allen walked down the field and had 1st and Goal from the 1 before the Bills knelt it down. The Ravens only lost by 3 because they didn't kick the FG.
It’s difficult to take Skip seriously when he loves Baker Mayfield and Joe Burrow but hates Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes. The freaking man makes no sense. Lol
Thats skip for yall everydamn week he sees something he has quite never seen before..... blames all qbs except TB12 and Baker... cucks for every black player who commits crimes outside of the game.... critical of every Cooper Kupp out there.. you can see skip coming a mile away... @@whatyoudontwannahear5053 well his praise of Brady is warranted. However I still don’t understand anything else the man says. I didn’t know he criticized Cooper Kupp. I’ve never seen that.
The bills proved Harbaugh was right. Look what the bills did in the final drive, the only reason they didn't score a td was because they chose not to. Sometimes you make the right call and still lose. But losing by 4 is no better than losing by 3, at least Harbaugh gave his team a chance.
You guys made a commentary on this. I agree. Ravens need to revisit how they approach these situations and they can't make anymore mistakes on losing that many points on second half of the game. A real hard look on how they are going to navigate the rest of the season is needed.
When are we going to start talking about how the Ravens offense keeps getting stonewalled after halftime adjustments? We keep ripping this defense for blowing the leads, but the offense has been consistently not scoring points to also put them in these positions.
To be fair, Harbaugh was right. Buffalo immediately marched down right down the field and had a 1st and goal from the goal line with over a minute left on the clock. Taking the FG would have still likely cost them the game ultimately.
He went for this for a reason. Josh Allen was marching the field at will at this point in the game. He also had the PTSD of the Miami comeback sitting on his conscious. He knew that if they kicked the field goal it would’ve went either to overtime or a Bills win. Defence also had poor communication by not letting Singletary get into the end zone with about 2 mins left. Poor coaching yes, but it’s just the way things have been goin for the Ravens this year. This just shows how he has 0 faith in his secondary. Granted I wouldn’t either after these 2 large collapses.
Doesn't matter. You take the points and force the other team to get 7 to beat you. Not 3 to beat you. 3 is easier to get than 7. If you can't stop the team, then that's the defense's problem. It still doesn't change the facts you force the other team to get 7 to beat you not 3. It was poor coaching. Let him score, ok. But you should stop the other team before they ever got that close.
@@worldisfilledb Not only did he know not to score, he knew not to get the first down. Allen told them if they got the first down too soon, the Ravens would get the ball back w about 15 seconds left. After the playoff loss vs KC, I guess the Bills are hesitant to give the ball back with any time left 😂.
I don’t mind them going for it, but lining up Lamar in an empty backfield was smart at all. I would’ve ran it so that way if the ravens don’t score, then the bills are pinned back and have to go the length of the field to score. But that’s just me
Harbaugh made the right call. If it worked everyone would call him a genius. Shannon thinking like it’s 80’s still. You can’t beat teams like the Bills, Chiefs, Chargers, Baltimore, Eagles, etc by kicking field goals and punting. You HAVE to be aggressive
Bills proved the TD attempt on 4th was the right call. Ravens lost by 3. If the Ravens hit the FG, they would have lost by 4. But, if the Ravens got a TD on that 4th down, Bills would have tied it with time on the clock, giving the Ravens a chance for a FG, TD, or OT. TD attempt on 4th down was the right call. Ravens lose if they kick the FG.
funny how everyone is talking about not getting 3 points, and NOT talking about the defense blowing a 20-3 lead. no points in the second half sucks, football is a team sport, to me this is the ultimate team loss. both sides had blunders, and coach made the right decision and it didn’t matter
Who's letting Lamar slide? He's the most hated qb in the NFL right now & for the past 4 yrs. I think Lamar guys is trying their best!! Talent & chemistry just isn't there. Harbaugh suppose to be this great coach (not saying he aint) but tell me how he is??
@@kyoakland no he’s not. He gets too many passes. The man just isn’t a high IQ qb and his throwing game ain’t that good. He should have made that throw last game . He missed it then threw a pick. That’s an IQ issue. He doesn’t know how to read defenses that good. And he’s hit his peak. Watch.
The Bills literally just failed to score last week vs Dolphins and they only needed a FG. And Bills haven’t won a close game since 2020. They took all pressure off Bills offense and left no chance to win in OT or at end to match FG
@@reignsupreme7686 but we know that they didn’t stop them in the actual possession in question. How did going for it change that? The only way they were going to get a stop might have been if Lamar had just thrown an incompletion and buffalo got it from the 2. If they kick the fg, buffalo still gets it from the 20 and drives down the field and wins with a td
Also, y’all need to stop discrediting the Bills defence. This is a BANGED up defence. Injuries all over the place & they’re still proving to be elite. If the offence gets clicking when the big names return on the defensive side of the ball, this is a truly scary team. Offence has to get going though. McKenzie, Crowder & Davis are all performing very underwhelming. Knox doesn’t look like himself either. Need to utilize Singletary and James Cook. Especially Cook because we all know they’re not going to pay Singletary this off-season. They need to get Cook involved and comfortable before next year. Gabe Davis is supposed to be “that guy” and has had major drops in the last 2 games. We can’t beat the best of the best by just throwing to Diggs and running Allen. Period.
Tbh going for it on 4th is just AFC North football. It's not us not believing in our defense, its us believing so much in our defense that we'll go for it on forth fully believing our defense is gonna get a stop regardless.
Not bad that we went for it, I’m with Lamar , he didn’t make the play not gonna put coach under the bus , made his worst mistake of the season by throwing the pick. Another week where the offense didn’t do anything in the second half, sure we lost Bateman and Hill , but the conservative play call hurt us again. No excuses
@@yaydog2702 True my point is as much as Lamar is at fault the coach is the one who threw the game away no sane coach takes that chance even if you are as accurate as Brady the risk to reward ratio isn't worth it that's why ravens fans blame the coach more than the player play the safer option nd trust the defense does its job simple
I hate people who say "trust the defense" knowing damn well Buffalo got to the goaline with ease. What people need to be mad about is the fact Baltimore couldn't run for a yard to save they lives.
I think they made the right call going for 7. The way the 2nd half was going it was no question The Bills were gonna drive down the field and score. Going for 3 points would have been meaningless when you would still lose by 4 points. Even if The Bills didn't manage the clock and gave the Ravens last up with the ball it wouldn't have made a difference. The last drive for Baltimore took over 8 minutes. Unless they get lucky on a huge play they weren't going to get a better chance than driving the ball in at 4th and goal by a couple yards. Even if they got into field goal range and scored 3 they would have lost by a point still.
There was a receiver WIDE OPEN in the corner of the endzone and Lamar missed him thowing the ball way late. MVP’s highest paid wannabes can’t come up short in that situation.
@@cabalogia - ??? I just said that...the O-Line collapsed and Duv was not the 1st option of the play it was Andrews who was on the other side and with the pocket collapsing Lamar should have thrown it away or ran to the scrimmage line passed the ball as the defense would have collapsed to stop him. Anyways these are hard games for them to lose and hopefully they can grow from them
Shannon can't fault that lose against the Dolphins. Tua and Tyreek were playing out their mind at the fourth quarter in that game. The Raven's defense need better coverage
Harbs was smart to go for it to get a TD cause the Bills were rolling and if they turnover on downs then Bills are pinned back deep. Bills obviously marched down the field and easily could have had the TD but chose to run the clock and kick the FG for the win. Harbs said "I don't trust my Defense" and rightfully so cause they already blew it against the Dolphins
that was different. Belicheck was terrified of Peyton Manning. if he converted that 4th & 2 in 2009, then Games over. He didn't, so Peyton Came up clutch
As a bills fan you cant blame the oc for the play calling on that last play. There were 2 open wr's lamar just missed them right away. If I'm a ravens fan I cant be mad at what happened, id rather have lamar who is a stud going for it on 4th then kick a fg
Its crazy that if roles were reversed n allen had that second half this whole video would be them blasting allen saying no way hes mvp while they would be awarding lamar mvp trophy this week lol
No kidding! I’m not even going to watch this video because I already know what it’s going to be! I’ve only heard today from other shows that Lamar had a good game considering the weather…no mention of some of those scramble throws or crazy throws and come back allen made 🤣it’s funny
Right. The only time they talk about Allen is when he loses. When the Bills win, they only talk about the other team losing. Never about the Bills winning.
I mean Allen didn’t have a great game either. I think both defenses played really well and both defenses got bailed out by drops. So far through 4 games Lamar is the leading MVP candidate. That I don’t think is arguable
If you're gonna go for it on 4th down near the goal line, at least have good 4th down play calls. When you Lamar Jackson and you decide to call dropkick plays, you clearly don't understand what kind of QB you have. Don't do RPOs all day long and then choose to not to do it when you need to score the most. Offense definitely deserves blame for not scoring a single point in the second half. Defense takes another massive L for another blowing 17 point lead.
This was again more of a statement of Allen’s greatness. Harbaugh made this decision due to the fear of what #17 could do his D to end the game. Both these teams are cold weather teams, weather was of no factor here, outside of some kicking scenarios…
Singletary was going down on that play on his own. I’d trust Lamar on that play again. I’m just thankful Poyer realized that receiver was open and got there in time! On that play there was 2 obvious holding calls stopping Lawson and Rousseau too that nobody seems to have acknowledged
His 3rd STRING LT wasn't keeping him safe, and he peeked at the LT rush (which was coming) and missed the WIDE OPEN touchdown. The starting LT will be back soon, we'll see 👀 how it pans out later in the season
The missed receiver wasn't his 1st read. By the time he got to him the D closed. And 2 receivers in the same spot!! That's coaching or the receiver missing routes??
It wasn’t the fact that they went for it, it was more about the actual play call that was the problem. Straight drop back with Lamar instead of any play action, roll out, RPO, etc. inside of 5 yards….
Based on what Harbaughs seen from the Bills past & present, he knew the Bills had a good chance to score a TD. What happened? Bills marched down the field, ALLLL the way to the 1 YARD LINE, had 1st & goal, and kicked the GW FG. If Bills needed a TD, they would've gotten it. So Harbaugh was actually proved to be correct. 💯
It's so messed up when people want to blame the defense after they damn near kept them down the whole game.. And skip says it like Bill's Mafia don't got a loaded offense when everyone knows good and well this is an offense driven league now where you breathe on one of the superstars automatic flag.. possible ejection.. And give your opponent ridiculous momentum I think Ravens coach made the right choice to go for it.. because it comes down to plays like that to win the Super Bowl or even just get to it
it kills skip to acknowledge that Allen won them that game in the second half, its always what did the other team do wrong, not what did the Bills do right. That's why his opinion gets quickly invalidated in sports
Disagree. Don't blame the coach on this one play. The Ravens had a lead and blew it in the second half. Lamar threw two interceptions in the fourth quarter. That's what caused the Ravens loss. It doesn't matter if they kicked the FG or tried for the TD. There was almost 5 minutes left in the game. They still would have lost.
do you understand football? do you understand that it's 4th down and lamar's about to get sacked so he throws up a pass to give his receiver a chance? a pick is just as bad as an incompletion or a sack in that situation
@@ct_bionic do I understand football? I understand football very well and more then you do. What do you think lamar should have done at that moment then?
@@koch034on 4th down the moment lamar believes he is going to get sacked it is better to throw it up and risk a pick because at least then your receiver can make a play on the ball. if you take a sack or throw it away it is literally impossible to score. if the play results in a turnover might as well give your team a shot at the ball
I've been saying this the MVP! I just think it's time for harbaugh to move on from being the Ravens head coach. We currently have a losing streak at home

I mean if he throws it out of bounds the bulls are at the 2 yard line instead of the 25 😂😂😂
Skip is a clown.

My problem with the game was if you knew the defense couldn't hold water, in the 3rd quarter they should have kicked field goals on every 4th down when they were in range, bc now you control the game it would have been 29 - 10 and now the pressure would have been on the bills to score at least 3 touchdowns to beat you, and you would have more drives in the 4th quarter but not scoring any points bc Josh Allen is gonna get a touchdown is stupid and shows just how incompetent the playcalling is
Facts. Analytics can sometimes go against logic.
^ Agreed, people need to chill with the analytics. I get trusting Lamar with the ball but unless it is absolutely necessary or you’re trying to surprise the opposing defense there is no reason to not take the 3 pts. Which is practically free with J Tucker as their kicker.
Totally agree bro smh we gotta learn to start making tha lil 3 point field goals we get in range 80% of are drives we gotta start using it more
The ravens are very limited in their play calling due the qb being very limited. Lamar is awful in these situations

Give the bill’s defense credit 3 out of four games they’ve shut out teams in the second half
I think they are something like 63-7 in the 2nd half this year if I remember correctly
I’ve been saying bills d playing a a super high level this year.
Exactly GO Bills
It happens too frequently with too many losses resulting.
not true, the bills kicked the fg from the 1 after 2 kneel downs. they would’ve had 3 chances to punch it in from the goal line and would’ve gotten it.

@@kidthekiddo8996 yes we know why peters was upset , don’t say we don’t 😁
I think he made the right decision going for it. The Ravens didnt do anything in the second half and had no answer for buffalo. They blew a 17 point lead. You dont play for overtime, you play to win the game. If they kicked the field goal, its going to overtime. Josh Allen is making sure Buffalo at least gets a field goal. Score the td and and put all the pressure on Buffalo to bring it to overtime. Its 2 yards and you have Lamar. I say go for it.
Coach is playing with his job 😂😂😂😂😂
Facts
IDK I'm a Bills fan and I like Harbaugh's call. Contextually, the offense your facing has just scored 17 unanswered points. The Ravens defense is not what it was when it had Ed Reed, Terrell Suggs, and Ray Lewis, and people still are acting like it's a top tier unit. I agree with Harbaugh when he said "I thought that would give us the best chance to win the football game."
People have to play against the Bills and the Chiefs differently.
No it was a bad call the pressure was on Buffalo to score.
“Damn the analytics!!!! The analytics gonna get a lot of people fired” Shannon was on point💯💯💯
These Lamar apologists will probably blame Harbaugh for missing a wide open receiver in the endzone and throwing an interception it’s too funny😂😂😂
In a tie ballgame you always take the points and tell your defense to make a stand
I agreed with the decision. If the Ravens converted the 4th down then Harbaugh is a genius and it would be a different discussion today. He trusted Lamar like he should and they didn’t get it but you can live with the decision.
it was a dumb decision regardless who is QB
They didn't watch the game. Ravens blew that game, and everyone and their mother was screaming take the 3 points. The game completely changed earlier when the Ravens were in the red zone, and Mark Andrews got a pass interference penalty against himself. Then the Ravens had to settle for 2 field goas, then it was 20-3, then 20-10, then 20-17, and then 20-20. Bruh, take the 3 points!
I’m just trying to figure out what happened to Lamar the entire second half
Refs shamelessly kept Bills in that game in 1st half with that bogus OPI call on Andrews and no call against Bateman when he was almost tackled before ball got there. Fox was clearly in to keep game close and it paid off

The bills proved Harbaugh was right. Look what the bills did in the final drive, the only reason they didn't score a td was because they chose not to. Sometimes you make the right call and still lose. But losing by 4 is no better than losing by 3, at least Harbaugh gave his team a chance.
Allen also cried his way 15 yards down the field
Not saying they would or would not score still but that is a big factor
You guys made a commentary on this. I agree. Ravens need to revisit how they approach these situations and they can't make anymore mistakes on losing that many points on second half of the game. A real hard look on how they are going to navigate the rest of the season is needed.
1st and goal on the 2. 3 chances and not even close and he still goes for it on 4th.
When are we going to start talking about how the Ravens offense keeps getting stonewalled after halftime adjustments? We keep ripping this defense for blowing the leads, but the offense has been consistently not scoring points to also put them in these positions.
You're ignoing the penalties, rookie LT, rookie center, and their best WR was out. All the more reason you take the points.
Singletary was told to not score, bills never tried to get a touchdown just closer for an easier field goal
But that’s just me
Why is no one saying that the field goal wouldn’t have mattered. The bills kneeled it on the 1 yard line.
They wouldn't have done that in the first place if the score wasn't tied

I love how everyone is acting like the bills wouldnt have scored a td if we had taken the fg.
U have a crystal ball?
Better that than giving them the option of kicking a FG to beat you instead.
As a Ravens Skip is a meat rider, thank you Shannon for speaking the truth.
Same thing as last year smh.. 4th down killing Ravens
Miami game same thing.
It's so messed up when people want to blame the defense after they damn near kept them down the whole game.. And skip says it like Bill's Mafia don't got a loaded offense when everyone knows good and well this is an offense driven league now where you breathe on one of the superstars automatic flag.. possible ejection.. And give your opponent ridiculous momentum
I think Ravens coach made the right choice to go for it..
because it comes down to plays like that to win the Super Bowl or even just get to it
it kills skip to acknowledge that Allen won them that game in the second half, its always what did the other team do wrong, not what did the Bills do right.
Good gutsy call Lamar Jackson is the one to blame you can’t throw a pick right there
If oline held up a little longer he would have seen wide open duvernay. But play calling was trash tho.
do you understand football? do you understand that it's 4th down and lamar's about to get sacked so he throws up a pass to give his receiver a chance? a pick is just as bad as an incompletion or a sack in that situation
@@ct_bionic so what was wrong with what I said?
“Should have trusted your defense”
That same defense: let’s Bills go 79 yards and bleed the entire clock
Do you think they might be sabotaging their own season to not have to pay him all that money?
They been sabotaging him ever since he won MVP
That’s a big reach. If they don’t pay him they don’t pay him. Why would they want to sabotage their season because of that?
I've been saying this the MVP! I just think it's time for harbaugh to move on from being the Ravens head coach. We currently have a losing streak at home
@@elisportsguy8154 or how about sitting him/no play for like 4 weeks b4 that taints playoff loss.
