To me, Buffa is the perfect example of, "Let your revenge consume you and you become the very thing you hate, no matter how much you want to deny it." And while Michinaga does have compassion, Ace chewing Michinaga out for being like Beroba truly shows he DOESN'T want to admit it to himself, that's he's become a monster. And I like him for that.
To be fair Ace got the water gun first, tried to use it as a water gun exactly once and then proceeds to primarily use it as a club as well.
I have a friend who is currently the one person willing to watch Geats with me (/lh) and he has loved Michinaga right from the get go, with how tragic his story is and how well it’s done. He’s just a normal man stuck in the cogs of a system that’s chewed him up, and he’s trying to survive it and, maybe, in his mind, save people from the same fate. He’s the same archetype as Kaito from Gaim, but in my opinion, his story has been done better

You're not supposed to like that part of him, just like how you're not supposed to like Ace being an arrogant dick or Keiwa being a 22 year old man with the dream of a 5 year old child.
I love Buffa purely from a design standpoint, he’s a bull themed rider that actually has a bull motif, and the zombie buckle gives me a space marines vibe from the big shoulder paldrons to the giant power saw sword
Buffa is easily one of my favorites in not only Geats but probably all of the Reiwa Era.

Not even to mention that he has the best insert theme of the main 4 of Geats. Not only is it nu metal af, but it speaks about his character super well. Basically how he's given up on hope and doubled down on his convictions, slowly becoming an undead destroyer that can't be put down.
I also love that Keiwa is such a nice guy, that Michinaga can't really pick on him and actually is somewhat fair with him. Early on, anyway.
Hope to see your final review on Buffa character and Geats whole season , Geats doesnt perfect but many great things happen to this series that i get the true reiwa vibe back since Zero One
I wished Buffa was the secondary rider and not Tycoon. Tycoon feels like your everyday generic good guy while Buffa is more like an anti hero. His on the enemy's side but his not a completely monster. He told Neon not to touch the ID core or she will regain her memories and become a Kamen Rider which he wants to destroy. He also betrayed the jamato who took the apperance of his friend. I thought it would be the Jamato who will do the betrayal but i was wrong which i'm glad cause it shows Buffa isn't one to get easily manipulate. He might betray Beroba one day.

The "villain" we don't want to win, but hate to see lose. I also appreciate his dedication to blunt force trauma by any means necessary; he's a guy who dedicates himself to only one build, no matter the game.

aside that the rest is something I can agree with until you mentioned going back as the hero side. Man, I would love to see your reaction of Micchi not being back as the good guy
What turned me on towards Buffa is his resolve, sure he’s an asshole to everyone, and his goals aren’t the noblest, but that’s what also makes him the best. Buffa is one of the most ambitious, realistic, and badass rival riders. He’s willing to switch back to Keiwa team and take the buckles he offers.
Buffa’s rivalry with Geats is also cool because you have a man who acts above others and someone who doesn’t see anyone above or beneath him.
Michinaga is a man who will do anything to make his desires come true, even if he doesn’t like the way he does it, and I love him for that.

Poison element type riders always have that kind of raw dark feeling of power which is always amazing like with Horobi in Zero-one.
Looking back on it, the poison theme fits buffa perfectly as he wanted to be a poison to destroy the gpu system from the inside and save those outside of it.
Buffa is the combiner of Doomslayers and kratos(young one).
With the latest episode, wonder how long Buffa will be able to enjoy it.

Still extremely at the fact that he decide to save Beroba ass after getting kick by Geats, like I know he want the Vision driver…but couldn’t he just..take the vision and left Beroba to just idk get her ass kick again?
And also would extremely funny if Beroba think that Buffa going to save her and then Buffa just took the vision driver and dips
I really really love buffa so much I think of him as player one of the dgp
My favorite moments of Buffa and Geats's relationship was when Geats told him to "stop being the anti-hero", and i think it speaks volumes to his chara ter and development as a whole.
[SPOILERS FOR THE YEARNING ARC]
What fascinates me the most is after he got his wish to have the power to destroy the riders. You'd think that his growing animosity towards the riders would make him more brutal and unhinged during his hunt for the riders, butbthat's not what he has shown during the arc. Instead, he's actually holding back despite all the power he has,even going as far as telling them to "stop being a rider" before attacking. He's also never tried hunting possible contestants until after transforming into a rider. I think the only time we ever see him unrestrained was with his battle against Dunkleosteus together with Geats (He seens to also show animosity towards the DGP staff specifically, as shown when he's the only rider standing, which i thoight was a very interesting detail to his character).
I am the kind of person who really appreciate the villains in a story, simply because of their role in a story as a "villain". Buffa is no exception (considering my KR knowledge at this point). But unlike everyone else i've come to appreciate, he's very different from them. It is specifically emphasized that he's a simple character. A man with a simple life, with a simple, unconsequential desire. I find it fascinating. I find that this seems to be the theme for this season, well besides Ace, and it gives them a level of groundedness that makes it easy for viewers to emphasize with, and quite ironic as well considering the theme of the DGP.

I'm sort of glad to find another kamen rider channel because there isn't that many
Like to me he's just like Kaito (Kamen rider Baron ) but just better, they both want power to destroy the world they live where only the strong will survive and weak perish. I know it's plot convenient but i feel like Buffa just have tenacity and more power hunger because he got his new villain power earlier compare to Kaito which was like almost end of the series and some of his power just given, plus he never stop fight to win and always end up second place to Geats. So far I hope he's gonna be the final villain or I hope he gets a new form soon
I honestly like buffa solely because i love to hate him. I admire his dedication to a single move set of "just hit it really really hard" but it can get grating at times honestly

Not only hating Ace for no reason but also Keiwa as well which made me lose my respect to him. He turned blind eye to Keiwa who cares the most about innocent people's safety along with the other riders and the fact that Keiwa was willing to sacrifice his boost buckle in order to help him getting his zombie buckle back out of kindness and yet he still lumped him up with the bad riders. In the end he became the very thing that he swore to destroy: a selfish and heartless Kamen Rider

I think he is pissed that Ace constantly wasting the wish on triva stuff instead of using it for something with dire impact. Like someone wasting the scholarship/prize money that you worked hard on but failed to get on drugs and prostitutes, you would inevitable think "I would have spend the money much wiser/ I'm more worthy of the money"
@@wrecktheinternet Hell, while he does have compassion, overtime he lets that hate consume him. Not helped with the fact that Beroba just simply told him, "You want revenge on all Riders, alright, I'm not stopping you, do what you want idc". And Michinaga is inwardly letting those issues out.

well, i loved buffa as well ^^, unfortunatly on the second arc he start to get flanderized way to far, like i get he wants he's wish but why ally with beroba when he fully knows she is an evil person? like buffa din't agree with merry and punkjack but beroba? from all people, and now he's wish fells like the only thing he's character has
He allied with Beroba but does not agree with her ideology, he is just using her to get his desire fullfiled.

Because Buffa didn’t need their help to get his wish since he was still active in the DGP but by the time Beroba offered Buffa to join her Buffa had already been at a low point where he got killed in the DGP and is slowly turning into a Jyamato. Buffa still had a good chance to win the DGP and get his wish before so he didn’t need to let Mary’s shady acts go under the radar and he didn’t need to side with PunkJack and help him eliminate Ace except for taking the Desire Driver from the destroyed Jyamato Rider Ace defeated. Though that only really helped Buffa not get eliminated because even PunkJack got an explosive moment and didn’t get a driver back until the next episode. After he got eliminated but survived due to the Zombie Buckle, Beroba was the only way for him to actually get his wish at that point so he took the chance, he even hesitated to join at first because he didn’t feel the same way Beroba felt but only joined when Beroba told out loud that Buffa doesn’t have much left in life which was true. Though now it seems like he isn’t really siding with Beroba a lot in this new arc like in the first episode of Creation he had that moment with Beroba where he demanded to know who is evolving the Jyamato but she didn’t wanna say. So yeah it seems like Buffa is moving away from being Beroba’s lap dog.

@@tgiacin435 exactly but a lot of people want to say tycoon is the secondary rider because the author said so. Especially when buffa has been second to ace this whole time.
@@kingstorm8939 who? The promo material always made it pretty clear that that Buffa was the secondary rider and Tycoon was the audience identifying protagonist. Yeah he might of picked up the position during the JGP, but that was by default since Buffa defected. Don’t get me wrong, I like Tycoon, but he’s not the secondary.
@@tgiacin435 no see I agree with you full heartedly I agree. Especially considering that tycoon is my favorite character out of the show. Because I'm really sick and tired of these lame main characters. But one time when I made a comment on a video here on RUclips a bunch of people start to attack me saying "buffa isn't the secondary rider it's tycoon" it got so annoying that I just deleted the comment.
And besides if tycoon went evil I would be completely okay with that and this is just a side thought of mine. Because he is full-fledged justified to going evil. Because he has been getting dealt dirty the whole series
@@kingstorm8939 idk, he hasn’t been as done dirty as Buffa. Plus I don’t think Tycoon would do that just because he seems more pure in heart. Idk. I refer to the riders from gaim. In which the argument could be made that Glare could be the secondary if we’re goin by drivers. Either way, like gaim, Buffa is Baron and Tycoon is Gridon, and I’ll fight anyone that says otherwise

Kabuto riders with clock up would curbstomp him. Also don't forget about Ex-Aid and Genm with the latter probably would weaponize Mitsume to double down in his god complex
