I have both. Phantom is pure chrystal sound. JBL is pure punching power. For indoor use Phantom wins hands down. For a Big party where purity is less important, I'd go with JBL.

I have a phantom gold, and all I can say it, test iz indoor. Its soundquality is insane especially how clear you can hear every sound. You should test better music quality, you would be impressed how good the phantom actually can sound. Its a experience you need to hear yourself and not via compressed youtube quality
Thats so true! Also, i would describe the sound quality of the partybox 1000 too as an experience, it sounds like a whole PA system calibrated amazingly in my opinion. personally i have never heard the devialet in real life, but i would love to do so one day. Im sure it sounds spot on

I would say that the phantom is way overly priced for what’s it’s worth. With high watts, SPL, and DB I expected more much. Overall the sound quality sounds nice and clear but that price doesn’t seem right.
@@shoerice5083 i personally love the design, the Sound is really good(espacially when using flac music) i have tested a couple of expensive WIFI speakers and devialet delivers still the best sound for the price, sure its expensive but if you hear songs with many different instruments you will love the phantom

Why do people confuse loudness with pure sound quality. Devialet is unique in it's sound reproduction in any genre. It has the right amount of everything. When it comes to sound quality, Devialet is in a league of their own

Devialet sounds much cleaner and natural, but PartyBox 1000 sounds louder, because is party speaker, not for home listening.
Not much clearer tho, Pb1000 somehow has similar frequency response and is also very neutral sounding as you could hear...

@@lukabosnjak3829 devialet is all about the experience, feelings and visual pleasure, and not just on the quality of the sound, when you buy a product like this, you buy a experience like you never have experiment before ! Of course there are many speakers way cheaper than devialet how made a freaking good sound (really close or better than those) but you’ll never have the experience that devialet give you ! ;)

Le Phantom est toujours aussi impressionnant. Je me demandais justement comment il joue à l'extérieur. Justement parce qu'il est petit et à très peu de résonance interne, et franchement c'est incroyablement bon !
I did the sound for my kid's wedding. It was outdoors in a three story treehouse and two golds was the sound. It was bonkers. Phantoms play at 100% with NO distortion.
It is so clear that for sound alone JBL PB1000 has the lead , I mean the camera is shaking when it produces bass. Devialet Phantom Gold on the other hand sounds incredible for its size. This comparison is interesting and kinda weird at the same time, since one speaker is meant for parties and the other one is more for critical listening. Anyhow, great comoparison this was !

The fact that the camera shakes means nothing.
The Devialet is using dual opposed woofers which cancels out vibrations. Which means that you can get just as loud as other speakers without the vibrations.
The bass also sounds a lot clearer because it cancels out vibrations in the speaker cabinet.
The boombox 1000 also can't play below 30hz which is pretty terrible for a speaker in this price range and of this size. The bass is loud but not "deep". It is just the same as many Cerwin Vega subwoofers, some of the large ones only reach 40hz but they are incredibly loud.

@@NickFje Well I can tell you that the subwoofer is still moving even below 20 hz (jbl 1000). And the statement about dual opposed woofers is somewhat true, although the soundwaves also cancel out, this results in deadzones. And yes the fact that the camera shakes means absolutly everything, it goes to show how loud it can play in comparison to the phantom. Yes the phantom sounds great in clarity, but so does the JBL 1000 just even louder and doesnt distort like the phantom. The reason you cant really hear the sound clarity of the jbl 1000 is because the microphone recording the audio is litterally drowning in bass which disturbs the high tones of the jbl 1000 audio compressor.
the Devialet is very impressive for its size, but on sound power alone the JBL is on another level, and considering its price is very good, because it also sounds pretty great.
Both are very good products in their ways

You have a 12 inch ported sub under the jbl so yea it has louder bass. But the devialet kicks the jbl in the face with being able to produce cleaner audio and deeper bass that being lower frequencies you cant hear.

on the 50% volume test the partybox sounded like it was still at 70% considering there a little difference in loudness

U can force distortion through any speaker. U can force capacity through through limited speakers. U can force power and capacity through the phantom and it wins every time.
What you have to also understand is the partybox has front facing subs facing the microphone and maybe the ports are also front facing Im not sure so it's not an accurate measurement of bass

Jbl holds more bass at higher volumes and can manage that subwoofer sound even outdoors at 100% which is impressive, Devialet is very close which is even more amazing. Sound quality is quite similar imo with devialet sounding less boosted in the treable and a bit boxy in the mids...

@@GamesWorld03 the best way to settle it. Is at a party a 1000 will rattle a devialet phantom. In sound quality and all that experience everyone talks about. The phantom will win. But what you have to bare in mind is I can go and buy 3 1000s for the price of this phantom and yes I have listened to it. It sounds pretty good but I would never pay close to 3k for the thing. There isn’t enough speaker for 3k.

Creo que el jbl está muy bien, el sonido y la potencia, es mucho más barato. Los dispositivos están orientados para distintas cosas jbl para fiestas con buen sonido, phantom calidad de sonido con buena potencia. El audio está muy de frente, estaría bueno probarlo de más lejos

Its the microphone thats not capable to register the low hz. The phantom goes down to 14hz. This is something that can not occur. They are electronically locked so they cant break of too high volume

Devialet Gold es muchísimo mejor que JBL PartyBox. Devialet Gold es un altavoz audiófilo, con tweeter de titaneo y muchísima más tecnología. Devialet tiene ruido y distorsión 0%. Yo he oído los dos. El JBL hace bastante ruido, sus medios son indiferenciables de los graves y estos últimos distorsionan un poco. En cuanto a los agudos, agudos poco refinados. JBL se oye mejor que el clásico altavoz de discoteca, pero es un altavoz normal. Devialet Gold es un altavoz audófilo.

@@Netherlgiums No sé si se habrá dado cuenta de que Devialet Gold es un altavoz audiófilo compacto que compite contra Bowers & Wilkins (con sus Duo), Bang & Olufsen (con sus Balance o Beolab 18) y Kef (con sus LS50). Solo tienes que mirar que quien baraja la compra de uno de estos equipos tan caros también tiene en cuanta a Devialet Gold.
Marcas como Bose, Sonos, Samsung, etc., con marcas generalistas. Excepto los equipos profesionales de JBL, eso ya es otra historia.
Muchos técnicos de sonido y audiófilos de años hablan de Devialet Gold como altavoz audiófilo ultracompacto, eso no se pone en duda.

@@donrancio3573 ¿Lo prefieres autoamplificado o que sean cajas pasivas? Las cajas pasivas son más baratas pero necesitan un amplificador y rara vez se van a mover. Hay altavoces autoamplificados por ese precio bastante buenos. Y no sé si valoras más los graves, los medios, etc. Ya me dices. Saludos.
