4 door wranglers are excellent little campers I'm 6'4" I recline the passenger seat all the way back, put my old green wool Army blanket down on the seat cover up in a comforter and put my pillow under me heed and in very cold weather sleep like a warm happy baby Back seat keep camp chair buffel bag with clothes and black out curtains Then in the back coleman cooler , table and cook stove. In a cardboard box I keep my propane pots and pans Been all over from GA to Missouri in my little motel on wheels Shower in truck stops 😃
Nice! I have too many things I've built into mine to do that! It's all good. I'm debating a RTT or trailer at this point. I do have 2 Gazelle tents: a T3X and a T4.
I think I heard you mention having a Jackery in the video. Have you considered using an electric blanket to keep warm instead of the propane heater? That would help with any condensation problems and would probably keep you warmer.
My issue there is just how much power they require. It is an option and I know 12v blankets are out there too. I may be going to a lithium house battery at some point and if so I'll be able to use either my EB55 and Jackery 300 for a blanket.
subscribed... looking for options for the 2020 jl 4dr Thanks i use an old moving blanket to keep cold air out from under the cot like an under quilt for hammock camping
Yeah I use mine for the floor. This isn't a bad setup at all, esp for cold camping. The Little Buddy heater flat out heats that room up. I don't have this setup anymore as I have a 270 with walls. Not as closed in as this, though. I use a ground tent separately now.
Great looking rig! Did you make the back drawers or bought them? Link? They look like the perfect size for my Discovery. Watching from the Caribbean. Subscribed!
Thank you! This is the Smittybilt SRC rack and I installed it with a buddy of mine. One reason I chose this rack is because it has a much higher static and dynamic load rating. Meaning it can hold 700lbs parked and carry 300lbs while driving. Not that you want to carry that kind of weight but it gives you lots of wiggle room if you want say a rooftop tent plus awnings.

I much preferred my diesel heater over my propane heater. Doesnt use much power and was able to run it all night with boxers and no bag/blanket needed
Yeah a diesel heater is tempting!

No a buggy of mine made those drawers for me.
Love your set up! What roof rack/cage do you have and how did you install it?

Should have visited the little White House in warm springs
Yeah I should have. I'll be back, though!
specifically what awning and room is it
It's a CVT awning and CVT room.
