As someone with his Phd in psychology I need to address the "5:AM" rule. 6 hours might work for some for a while but EVERY ONE should do a web search for "Sleep Deprivation Torture". For most the lack of sleep will work in the short run but in the long run lack of sleep makes you stupid and a short tempered jerk, not to mention fat. This rule came about when sales motivational material was the key to success. As anyone who knows how sales works… the brightest star burns out the fastest but the bosses don’t care because they still make money off the deal and the next moron who will burn himself out is on the way.
- Work through your 20’s and work hard - Don’t spend money on BS gadget and other material nonsense - Take ownership of your life and evolve as you go - Shoot for a marathon, not a sprint - Take care of your body and mind, practice mindfulness and physical exercises

Totally disagree. You may want to get up at 5 am but please make sure you Dont get less than 8 hours of sleep every day. If you doubt me, refer to living anti cancer book, section sleep. You will be blown. Peace.
I disagree with the 5am rule. I am a total waste of space if I get up early. Even 7:00 is a struggle for me. My best and most productive hours are 22:00-03:00. Find your peak times and use them instead.
I was getting depressed because I am working from past 2-3 years and still struggling. Then I saw this video and as per rule number 13, we need to give 10,000 hours to master a skill. I calculated mine, I have given 3420 hours so far, so I must stick to it. Thanks ALUX for you amazing videos. I agree on almost everything said here, the one thing I don't agree with is that sleeping less than 7 hours is prompted...it is great to wake up at 5 am, but not at the cost of your body, your body needs its zzz's. Being honest, the toughest for me is the 5am rule!!!! I already implement some when dealing with customers & people I collaborate with.... The 10-10-10 rule is very fascinating rule!!! Another rule I found it very interesting was the 100-10-3- rule.I had never thought of a rule like that before,it basic but it helps you maintain integrity and not lose financially.
Invest in a good education, pay off debt as soon as possible, never get married, don't lend money, keep learning, max out IRA Roth every year, study wealth & investing, never co-sign on any kind of loan, consider trade/tech school, always use a condom to prevent mandatory child support payments, listen to positive audio books from the library, save $1000 for emergency fund, buy a house if you can afford it, max out 401 K at work, live below your means, get a library card & use it, go Mgtow.

Great point, Michael. For first dates, I always insist on splitting the bill (or just paying for my share). That way, there's no expectation of "more/extras" later. Some guys still believe that paying the meal account entitles them to a "happy ending". Also, what if you're not going to see the other person again (i.e. no spark/connection)? It's only fair that neither party feels taken advantage of.

I loved this video, however the date rule seemed somewhat sexist to me the way it was formulated (and not compatible for same sex relations), maybe the idea that one part should pay first and the other ought to have a chance to show they care for themselves can be generalized. Also, i loved the 5 am rule that you already mentioned in some biography, it has made my study routine much easier
Those first 15 rules were spot on. However, the bonus is absolute rubbish. Decent men pay for dinner and dessert all the time whether on the first date or 15 years married. A woman should never take out her wallet in the presence of the man she's dating or married to. That's what is wrong with society today. Men have one job - to be a provider. No way a woman should pay her way into a relationship or marriage. This is not a popular opinion but it's the truth. Don't fall for it, Ladies.
There is another two minute rule that works in conversations. You talk for two minutes and then you listen to what other people have to say for two minutes before you give your input.

Stay poor - be rich rule has been the story of my life for the past few years. I’ll be able to retired from traditional employment in less than half the time that it would take the average person to make it to traditional retirement. This concept forces you to find ways to survive. Then your vision starts to get more and more focused and you start to reach higher and higher compared to the average person who wants to be only slightly better than the next person.

I seriously thought that #9 rule was going to be "NEVER APOLOGIZE because it shows a sign of weakness, instead fix the mistake and move on" How F'd UP was your mistake to the point you have to apologize??? I can understand using "sorry" to someone who lost a loved one, but other than that, the only people that need to offer apologizes all the time are POLITICIANS, not ENTREPRENEURS. When a business makes a mistake with me, I care more about the credit I get back, rather than just an apology, the greater the mistake, the higher the credit, and I will remain loyal to them.

- From Malcolm Gladwell in his book Outliers
- In order to master anything, you need to put in at least 10,000 hours toward it.
- It is simply a matter of practising a specific task that can usually be accomplished with 20 hours of work per week for 10 years.
- It does not matter when you start or how old you are.
14. The stay poor - Be rich rule
- The more time a person is willing to live they're poor despite not having to, the richer they become.
- The psychological effect on lifestyle spending or lifestyle creep
15. The coin rule
- If you need to make an important decision you flip a coin on it but the thing is, you don't really care about the outcome. In those few seconds, while the coin is in the air, your guts tell you what you're actually wishing for the outcome to be. Then pursue that, why would you leave any big choice to chance when you already know what you want to do deep within yourself.
16. The first date rule.
- The guy should always pay for the meal. The girl pays for the dessert.
- Act like a gentleman and the ladies opportunity to show they can pay for themselves.
- That they valued the interaction and it gives you both more time to talk a better environment.
- Mutual respect and partnership not to mention communication and honesty.

Hey Alux, all of these commercials are killing me. They have left me disappointed from what I liked about your vids. Cold, hard, uninterrupted truth!
I loved this video, however the date rule seemed somewhat sexist to me the way it was formulated (and not compatible for same sex relations), maybe the idea that one part should pay first and the other ought to have a chance to show they care for themselves can be generalized.
Also, i loved the 5 am rule that you already mentioned in some biography, it has made my study routine much easier
Those first 15 rules were spot on. However, the bonus is absolute rubbish. Decent men pay for dinner and dessert all the time whether on the first date or 15 years married. A woman should never take out her wallet in the presence of the man she's dating or married to. That's what is wrong with society today. Men have one job - to be a provider. No way a woman should pay her way into a relationship or marriage. This is not a popular opinion but it's the truth. Don't fall for it, Ladies.
There is another two minute rule that works in conversations. You talk for two minutes and then you listen to what other people have to say for two minutes before you give your input.
The 2 minutes rule is the best for me...I think I can overcome my habit of procrastination with it's help

I’ll be able to retired from traditional employment in less than half the time that it would take the average person to make it to traditional retirement.
