I watched all your tomb raider AI videos. My two observations: 1. Lara has never ever commented on any crossroad she came through for the first time like saying something like "should I go left or right". 2. Lara has never ever looked around at any crossroad - looking left then right like a human would do and then choose a direction.
I'm unsure if you saw the updated video but it's a good point, she follows the textures she didn't unlock yet, when there are two paths she only spot one and targets it (trying to find a new texture in it or getting close enough of the texture to unlock it), if she crosses the same road afterthat she will follow the second path, ignoring the first one. Alors she remembers the key-words for each texture she unlocks and in case of problem (nothing new spotted for too long) she can rollback step by step to find her way. If both paths have no special textures in it she will follow the brightest one first, there is an example in the next level (still in progress). It's robotic but I like to think the real Lara wouldn't get lost, there are examples where she is really lost but this end the run or call for help with the compass. 😃
Does the ai thing only work with the pc version? Because there are duke nukem games on ps1 that play alot like tomb raider, time to kill for example. Would be interresting to hear duke commenting throughout the levels. Great video, Lara 2 is growing on me :)
I don't know, the problem is you need the best textures possible to make the identification works, on PS1 there is a blur that makes every line looking like zigzag (less visible on N64), maybe emulator could help. But Duke is impossible, I would but he would but it couldn't be on youtube as you know, duke is brutal XD. For example GPT struggle to say "corpse" as it looks "weird to write that", even the word "skeleton" often crashes the process because "this may blabla policy blabla" xD

A subtle and nuanced difference (in both sound and meaning), but a difference nevertheless. Anyway, that is my only criticism. I love this series otherwise.❤
You desperately try to mock Lara's voice, but you fail, creating a cheesy effect, because you have no training in voice acting. Good actors understate their emotions, but you do the opposite, you scream angrily. Lara's character is confident and collected, which is delivered by her calm, emotionally understated delivery. You ruin the video because you do the opposite. You try to imitate confidence by creepily and cornily overstating ager. That's the opposite of what you should do. Also, your human voice has higher volume, which adds an extra layer of annoyance that ruins the video. that's what voice normalization exist for: to match the volume level. Lara says "you are shooting at me" as if she were worried about his tea not having enough sugar. That's badass. That's what gives her confidence. By screaming over your lungs, you communicate insecurity, breach character, and ruin the immersion.
I think you haven't noticed that it's not my voice but that of a robot, which, although limited, has been sufficient for you not to notice it's a robot 😃 Its perspective isn't inside the game but external, that's why its volume is higher, also this isn't live as the voice takes too much time to generate, the emotion in it depends of the quote, if she says "I'm scary" she will use the scary voice by default, but this is very new, if you check the first level she had less emotions as it wasn't available yet, some people complained she sounded too robotic. It also depends of the voice used to clone it, in this game the actress has less emotions in the voice than in the first game, and the robot tries to mimic human emotions based on this specific voice, as there are no example of angry Lara in the game it has to create it, so it's not perfect from a human perspective, but for a robot it's definitly not bad. Some robots can adjust the emotion using your voice and by pasting another one on it, but this is a different technology that couldn't work here, as the idea is letting Lara plays her own game (if it was realistic Lara wouldn't talk at all)

You can watch her on RUclips (although her voice was more like a teenager when she recorded Lara, and she can't reproduce her original voice today). She is British, and British actors are the best, in large part for how they make an art out of understatements, telling the worst things as no big deal. If you want to mimic Lara's voice, even with the help of AI, you have to learn that.

Lara's character is confident and collected, which is delivered by her calm, emotionally understated delivery. You ruin the video because you do the opposite. You try to imitate confidence by creepily and cornily overstating ager. That's the opposite of what you should do.
Also, your human voice has higher volume, which adds an extra layer of annoyance that ruins the video. that's what voice normalization exist for: to match the volume level.
Lara says "you are shooting at me" as if she were worried about his tea not having enough sugar. That's badass. That's what gives her confidence.
By screaming over your lungs, you communicate insecurity, breach character, and ruin the immersion.
I think you haven't noticed that it's not my voice but that of a robot, which, although limited, has been sufficient for you not to notice it's a robot 😃 Its perspective isn't inside the game but external, that's why its volume is higher, also this isn't live as the voice takes too much time to generate, the emotion in it depends of the quote, if she says "I'm scary" she will use the scary voice by default, but this is very new, if you check the first level she had less emotions as it wasn't available yet, some people complained she sounded too robotic. It also depends of the voice used to clone it, in this game the actress has less emotions in the voice than in the first game, and the robot tries to mimic human emotions based on this specific voice, as there are no example of angry Lara in the game it has to create it, so it's not perfect from a human perspective, but for a robot it's definitly not bad. Some robots can adjust the emotion using your voice and by pasting another one on it, but this is a different technology that couldn't work here, as the idea is letting Lara plays her own game (if it was realistic Lara wouldn't talk at all)

You used AI to "convert" your own voice into something closer to AI Lara, but is not equal. The AI cannot erase the faked anger in your voice. You have to voice act less emotional. Nonchalantly. That's Lara's character. She was voiced by Shelley Blond. You can watch her on RUclips (although her voice was more like a teenager when she recorded Lara, and she can't reproduce her original voice today). She is British, and British actors are the best, in large part for how they make an art out of understatements, telling the worst things as no big deal. If you want to mimic Lara's voice, even with the help of AI, you have to learn that.

@@K-o-R Judith Gibbins is also a British actress, and if you check her voice acting in TR, you will notice how understated and nonchalant are her expressions. She speaks with a murder pretending to be polite, as an ordinary conversation. She never exaggerates her emotions to convey anything. She's classy. The gravity of the situation is below her level.
