      @@hironizer1332 Sorry to hear that. My gym wouldn't do that, either, but it's a chain. I've asked for just a few pieces of equipment like a belt squat machine and blocks so an older guy like I am (61) can do some hard workouts without risking more injuries... Think they did it?

    Work harder not smarter
    That's how we do.
    Really enjoyed this video!

    • @leonestello
      @leonestello 5 лет назад

      Why not work smart and hard... Why are people so dense they always have to think it's one or the other when both is usually the real answer

    • @leonestello
      @leonestello 5 лет назад

      @Jordan "work more effectively"... that is the definition of working both smart and hard

    • @leonestello
      @leonestello 5 лет назад

      @Jordan but the language is limited in it's scope... "works smarter not harder" is lopsided as opposed to "work smart and hard" gives a sense of balance... not sure how much manual labor you've done in your life but people tend to hide behind the former instead of embracing the fact that sometimes you've got to use shear power and brute force to get something done... in other words they're afraid of getting their hands dirty... so I encourage the latter as a way of opening the mind to all possibilities

    • @leonestello
      @leonestello 5 лет назад

      @Jordan I'm pointing out a far more intellegent and effective way to communicate the same point especially when dealing with those lazy people... that was my whole point in the last comment. People (lazy goons) will use it as a copout so I've learned that saying it the other way gets it through to them better... that's the difference between me and you I think. I want to teach and lead people to be better as opposed to boss people around and complain when they are lazy goons

    • @leonestello
      @leonestello 5 лет назад

      @Jordan think of what I'm saying as a way of encouraging good behavior in contrast to "work smarter not harder" as a way of discouraging bad behavior. "Work smart and hard" empowers someone to rise to the occasion instead of just demeaning them which is pathetically the norm in the manual labor business.
      EDIT: Thinking big and seeing the big picture is the leadership quality of the right brain as is morality and creativity. The logical left brain is not all there is. You need to empower people to see them grow

Alan finally figuring out an easy way to get the pipes in after he’s done taking it down was a total metaphor for life. • @dariusgoatland10
      @dariusgoatland10 5 лет назад

      Idk. What you should do is flex your triceps & let the bar sit low in your hand & use your fingers as hooks rather than high in the palm.
      If you're flexing your triceps, you can't engage your biceps & bend your arms.
      If the bar sits low in your hand as I described, if you bend your arms or hitch, you'll probably drop the bar. It also reduces the range of motion & reduces the moment arm between your hips & the bar.
