He actually sang this at George Jones funeral service. Amazing. He did a phenomenal job, despite expected emotional moments.

Those three voices could be singing anything together and it would bring a tear to my eye. And Vince Gill! He’s that guy who holds the record for the solo artist with the most CMA Awards and has 22 Grammys and is still underrated.

We played this at my brother’s funeral. It hits home in a very hard way. He was mentally handicapped and passed way before his time. It is a beautiful tribute to him but doesn’t make life easier now that he is not here. It has been almost 5 years and it still hits me hard every time I hear it.

There is a version of this done live at the Grand Old Opry. In it, Vince breaks down. Brought me to tears.
My 25 year old nephew took his own life in 2012 and this was played at his funeral. Miss you Bradley 😢.

Thank you for this request. He wrote this for his brother and also finished it for Keith Whitley when he passed. The verse saying You were no stranger to the Rain which was one of Keiths songs. Thank you for my request for my mom who's in hospice care. Yes that is the great Ricky Skaggs and Patty Loveless singing with him. Don't worry Kathy I tear up also when I listen to this.

Harmony with Patti Loveless and Ricky Skaggs. He originally was writing this after the death of Country Music Artist and Friend, Keith Whitley, but never finished it. After his brother passed away, he finished it and dedicated to his memory. You guys should react to "It's Hard To Kiss The LIps" by The Notorious Cherry Bombs, which is the Nashville Band with Vince and Rodney Crowell when they were Emmy Lou Harris' backing band. It's hilarious.
He began writing the song in remembrance of singer Keith Whitley and finished it a few years later after his brother passed.
You lovely ladies didn't know this, but I was hoping you would give this song a listen.

I'm going to suggest a couple of songs for another Vince Gill song, I would suggest "Oklahoma Borderline". For another song that is amazing the singer can perform it is "The Father, My Son, and the Holy Ghost" by Craig Morgan. There is a live version of it out there and the emotion he conveys in singing it is incredible. Thanks for this reaction.

I can't listen to this without tearing up. I lost my wife last October. Even though I miss her everyday, knowing she can rest up on that mountain or anyplace her spirt carries her, I know sh'e alright. Thank you to all 3 of you for all the fun we have had with your reaction channel. That fun we have had has brought smile and laughs to me during these 7 months. Thank You . Now let's get these tears dried up and let's get to living again. How about some "Rockin' Down the Highway" by the Doobie Brother if you please ? ?

Another country artist that lost his son and wrote a song about it is Craig Morgan called the father my son and the holy Ghost. Craig can barely perform it live before crying. It will tug at your heart
