Every nba player is a star in high school obviously. You have to stand out to make it and than they usually become the star player or top 3 player in college on the team then they start to separate themselves from role player and star.

NBA Comes with a lot of shit, a lot of politics that these Unicorns aren't down with or ready for. So Most of the time it breaks their mental. And if your mental isn't solid, you can't play your game. You gotta learn to adapt and evolve, no matter what the situation is. Most of them were cuddled and treat like little kings in HS, bc there were around Family and friends. But when you move to a different city around wolves and other competitors, you gotta strive for greatness and become a tiger or a lion.

Bol Bol has never gotten a real chance. Furthermore, I think coaches are trying to make a player out of him he isn´t and will never be.
You can´t play the boy on the five, it just doesn´t work out with his given weight and playstyle. But in the future, I can see him playing on the 3. Seriously. He´s ghot the skills, all he´s still missing is experience.
The day will come when the Nuggets will bite their own ass for letting him go.,

Coach, system, teammates etc all makes a big difference.Look at Malik Monk with Charlotte and look at him now with the Kings.Look at Dante Divincenzo with the Buck and look at him now with the Knicks.Bol Bol just needs the right coach and the right system. He might never get it because the NBA isn't really about men.Its about 3 point shooting more than anything else. They can't even coach or teach a big man.
