What a brilliant transition from Breathe, which hits so hard in a calm way, into Dust to Dust which hits hard in a dark but full on rocking sense. Genius, always genius.

You're exactly right with the final melody being in a 'Eastern' scale (6 note scale). I think the idea is to give an impression of a funereal wailing as well, and it really works.

Pau said that she would put BREATHE on the album if she never sang it live. At their show last October in Pepsi Center, they rolled out the piano and Pau played it for us. Once. Wrecked me.

why don't you react to the 70s drummers ? they were the best and they were creative (the originals were more interesting than the groups who do covers,) , try with the original group who wrote 'war pigs' live in Paris 1970 with a killer drummer on this performance ruclips.net/video/K3b6SGoN6dA/видео.html and John Bonham with Led Zepellin ..'how many more times' live 1969 .... ..ruclips.net/video/wEPog_WdPE4/видео.html .an old sound but a good sound, epic music for this two songs...........
