North Sentinel Island is located in the Bay of Bengal and is home to the Sentinelese, one of the last uncontacted tribes in the world. The Sentinelese people have had little to no contact with the outside world and are known for their isolation and hostility towards outsiders. As a result, the Indian government has implemented a policy of non-interference to respect their way of life and protect both the Sentinelese and any outsiders from potential harm.
