Great review, I managed to get 3 of these, absolutely a vast improvement over the previous Storm Troopers. Unlike the old Sand Troopers the new photo paint apps means they all look the same.
Totally agree with you Nate, Hasbro have gone a little overboard with the chipping and weathering effects, well, with the front of the figure that is, yet Hasbro pulls its classic and leaves out most of the weathering on the back of the figure. I do still like it but it could of been executed better but still very happy to add it to the Mandalorian collection.Awesome review Nate😎
Great review. From the other Remnants that i have seen they all look like they have the same weathering pattern almost exactly as the one I have. Even if they weren't so hard to come by this makes me ok with just one instead of multiples.
i have 2 of these and idk how the hell they both managed to keep from getting any scratches on their backs!! somehow they coulda made the wear and tear more random so they all dont basically look the same.. of course i still love this figure, make a black series and i'll buy it...seems to be a sickness i've learned to live with. stay safe guys and keep up the good work
Yep, certainly should've painted the entire figure and made it randomized between figures. They did such a good job of that with the Sandtroopers! -Justin

Got mando stormie shipped yesterday with credit Cara, then ebayed remnant, then ordered ketchup stormie, grogy grogster (original) and grif cargo. Bunged in Menace 50th card mace to get free shipping for 15 English potatos which was not bad either. A little end of year ho down!
Hey OotB... FiveBelow is seling 12" troopers for $5USD. I bought 12 of them and since love the different generations of stormtroopers I am creating my own scenarios of the trrops. Just recently had a $400 commission to create a non-story related diorama. Your input and demo will help me get paid. Thanks brother! Any tips on modifications on the weapons?
2 of my favorite things put together black series and out of the basement. If u dont want the figure because u think its to much think of it this way he was out of the way of a explosion by a foot so it almost hit him and thats y he has all the gray
I like the figure, but I agree it could’ve looked better. Definitely better weathering than I can do however. I dig all of the troopers with this body. I only have one of the remnant troopers, but I was able to pick up two of the standard trooper and one of the incinerator troopers. Great review!
@@OutOfTheBasement yeah I did with both figures heated them in hot water... the butterfly joint wanted to pop out but I didn’t know the butterfly joint was attached to the lower part of the inside of the arm. I tried posing it around today and it snapped... I don’t know how to fix it. I can pose it around because the butterfly joint can keep it in place but it’s so annoying... it was the target exclusive muddy version... :(
Yeah that honestly sucks, I'm surprised heat didn't fix the issue! That is usually the answer for any kind of overly-stiff joints. Sorry that has happened to you! My Remnant Stormtrooper is just fine, never had any of those issues. -Justin

I also bought ventress the other day and the figure is awesome... but there’s something wrong with one butterfly joint... it looks like it’s placed outwards too much... do you have seen any of these issues with other figs or ventress yourself? I’m super careful now because I really don’t want to break any more joints(even though this one is not stiff). I feel like when I push the arm inwards next to the body, that the butterfly joint is moving with the arm inwards what might lead to breaking that one too... I really am clueless what to do... Ryan
