Are you fricken kidding me? Theres no way you put all this time and effort into this video. I want to give you a giant hug. Thank you. You're an edm production GOD!
Time stamps!?!? There’s even time stamps!!!! Man….I’ve been married 15 years, but you better not cross my path in person cuz I’m kissing you right on the face. This is just too valuable man… it’s seriously appreciated.
Just wanted to say learning Ableton is so complex and studying for months has not even scratched the surface, but I can tell this video will truly expand the knowledge throughout this journey...thanks.
This is the only channel that is so on point without any bs. You guys deserve so much more fame. You've single handedly made my production game top notch and I'm very very grateful to this channel.
This guy is amazing! You’ve helped me out tremendously as I’m an artist myself. This is a great video, well put together, sooo much value, and I’m only 5:34 in😂😂❤
Amazing videos, Kudos! Around 1:25:38, you talked about the difference between Shift and Transp knobs. I am still slightly confused by their nuances. Here are what I found on ChatGPT: The Transpose knob shifts the fundamental frequency of the resonator up or down in semitones, affecting the overall pitch around which the resonation occurs. When you adjust the Transpose knob, you're changing the base pitch that the resonator uses to create harmonics. This transposition is musical and affects the harmonic series based on the new fundamental frequency. The Shift knob offsets the frequencies of the partials (harmonics) in the resonated signal by a fixed number of semitones, potentially altering the harmonic relationships and creating inharmonic or unique timbral effects. Adjusting the Shift knob moves every partial in the resonated signal up or down by the specified number of semitones. Unlike Transpose, which changes the base pitch, Shift alters the position of each harmonic relative to the fundamental frequency. Can I use these as the reference to understand their difference?
This baby can do almost everything without adding any vsts... i was married with fl studio for 10 years and after some foolin around in ableton for a day or two because i was bored, completely ditched fl studio. The sound is clearer and better, easier to write and get what you want from the melody... freaking thing is just amazing.
Huge thanks for this man. Been messing around out the box for a few years so had some catching up to do on the new and updated devices. Considering the depth of all these FX this video is super concise and informative. Appreciate you making it, imagine it was a mammoth task! Lots to play with after watching this :)
woah what an awesome video. Very informative. My only critique and please do not be offended I pass it with love and not malice, is the quick cut scenes and the quick speed of your talk. I hope you continue to make great teaching videos. I have been a Live user since Live 8 and I am still learning little ins and outs about this great DAW.
Superb video! I recently upgraded to 11 Standard, but I can't seem to find an echo effect as you are presenting in the video. Under Delay and Loop, it does not appear as an option. Is echo available on Live 11 Suite? Thanks again for taking the time make this very helpful video!
Very informative and interesting video. I didnt know that ableton has so many interesting plugins! Spectral time in particular is insane, thanks for the video!
Absolutely great video especially those familiar with Ableton 5+ years. For the heaviest users especially, a dive into the parameters in each presents so many "Duh!!" moments where you remember not understanding some part of a plugin in the moment. The only significant omission is the "circuit types" and drive in Auto Filter. Being able to drive the filter helps add beefiness back in to compensate for energy lost removing stuff. Also makes Auto Filter compete with many a saturation plugin.
I've not watched this video yet, but i wanna thank you for your work. Great videos. I always catch something useful for my production. Keep doing it ♥️
Hello. I am using a "backing track, then recording my vocals on another track. I have a portion of a vocal track that I want to generate silence, as there is alot of outside noise being picked up before the music starts. "Insert Silence" moves the vocal track out of sync with the music. How do I just create and remove the noise from a selected part of the track? I also cannot find the simple "gate" that you show at 39:16. I don't seem to have this? Or am I not selecting the right effect? My build is 17.10.2023
Great video, please can someone let me know if they think the colour limiter in suite is a better brick wall limiter then the regular limiter and has better algorithms? Thanks!
UPDATE** my bad. I did not give the internet leprechauns enough time to work out the details and send me the link. I am in like Flynn now, I have the bible and I am sitting at my music station with your online course ready to go. Next step is printing off the bible PDF because I HATE reading text online. Hello. I clicked the link to acquire the Workflow Bible, I filled out the name and email areas, it said to check my email, there is still nothing there. Is there an alternative method to get this? I would really love to read it.
Please, could you enlighten me on your set up to make Ableton music production tutorials. I’m using OBS but my laptop is dying with it and I’m trying to make tutorials whilst travelling. I have a USB Mic but I’m hoping for some easier to use software that’s not going to make my fans in my mac take off lol I’m using a macbook pro: 2012 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Old work horse I think may be the problem...
The audio is pretty low either on my computer or my speaker sadly. Thank for the work tho and all those info, i will watch later when i have time and a noiseless environment

The more I learn about Ableton the more I'm impressed by this software

Is it normal I never got the email to download, even though I tried multiple times and checked my spam folder?

Thanks for spending the time to make this.
Do you happen to remember which preset you were using for the bass sound on the Dynamic Tube explanation mate?
Huge video Aden - might be time for me to finally switch from FL to Ableotn 😅
Great video, please can someone let me know if they think the colour limiter in suite is a better brick wall limiter then the regular limiter and has better algorithms? Thanks!

Needed this!!
Are these plugins available if I purchase the standard version or would it be only on the suite version that these come with stock ?
Loving the vid! leanred a lot. Although beat repeat is one of my fav plugins. It can do so much more... :P
Can I do all of this on Ableton Live 11 lite or no???
Asking for a friend 😐

Hey mate. Can I buy you coffee? This is fantastic and cheers for putting this together.
I always regret all the plug-ins I've bought after watching videos like these. Ableton pretty much has everything built in.
Great
Thanks

Definitely worth chucking some headphones on for certain parts ;)
3k views ? the world is drunk. THANKS BRO.
Never use most of them because I don't know how to use it. But, Man... you just open the door to explore.
Enjoy the exploration 😇
😮👍🔥
Lord... it'd help if you play this at .75.
That's all cool but Ableton with live 11 can't even fix the CPU spikes. It's unusable
Oh no. An ‘underrated’ statement in the first 10 seconds. Sorry mate.
