This reminds me of amazing sets guys used to play in the 60s-70s on tv. When your just transfixed by all the musical talent and wish it would last forever. This is what I call REAL music! And Kevin, well he's a genius.

Kevin Parker in interviews has said that the recorded version of this song doesn't have concrete lyrics for that part so they vary from the live version.
Yes, Kevin said the lyrics were gibberish. He said he does that sometimes on demos to figure out the vocal melody. And he liked it so much that when he went back to record it with actual lyrics, it wouldn't come out better than the first time he recorded it. So he said fuck it, I'm keeping it. 😂
But the lyrics in the live version say (first two bars are undetectable :c ) "try to get through it, try to bounce to it. All the while thinkin' I might as well do it. Baby, that was so long ago and you know it. Take the next ticket to take the next train. Why would I do it? And you can keep on thinkin' that-" repeats.
