    Floods in S.E. Qld.! Who knew this might happen?
    The question of why people build homes on a flood plain is beyond my ability to comprehend.

      It's where the government and insurance companies want them to build, flood prone housing is highly profitable when it comes to premiums.

    The police shouldn't be telling people not to put their lives at risk, they can do what they want with their own lives. What these morons driving through flood water shouldn't be doing is putting other people's lives at risk who have to come out and rescue them.

      You know, if we started seeing cyclones during a snowy mountains winter, then I would know the climate is changing, be it via CO2 emissions or geo engineering. I see no evidence of anything like that. What you are seeing today is exactly the same as anytime in the past. The seasons are the same, floods and droughts come and go, just as they always did. I don't believe in climate change, and because I am consistent, I don't believe that geo engineering is causing anything catastrophic.

      Geo Engineering, but in saying that, I'm WAY above any flood zone and rather excess rain than DROUGHT! It's to get people alarmed and "ramp up" the climate change AGENDA!! I DO feel sorry for people in flood zones, and THIS will make Qld deeper in Debt and Insurance price even HIGHER. "All Planned" 100%

    Why do Dams not have flood
    relief pipes that lead directly
    to the ocean? It would be a
    much better flood mitigation
    solution than flooding many
    residents downstream of all
    Dams when it all eventually
    ends up in the Ocean anyway.
    It would be money well spent.
    I'm sure that ALL would agree.

    • @annegiorgio5602
      @annegiorgio5602 11 дней назад +1

      You mean underground pipes leading to the ocean from inland, really, how many kms do you think that involve, then you have to make sure they run downhill otherwise they’ll bank up and flood somewhere else, sure simple fix lol

    • @saltymonke3682
      @saltymonke3682 11 дней назад

      Uhh..... because the dam is used for water sources for our lives and it's distributed cheaply by the river? Not only that, farms are also relying on the river

      of Carbon Dioxide annually, Humans only produce 37 gigatons of CO2 anually. @@SBGNatureandCoffeeChannel
