I’m under it and I’m not witnessing any actual “smashing” yet Then again, they haven’t mentioned “catastrophic” yet I’m enjoying the lead into an old fashioned proper qld wet season😅❤
@slayorcs they were talking about doing it 100 years ago it's not something I've just invented. In South Australia we built a thousand km of pipe to get water from the Murray to the the rest of the state 70 years ago ,surely Queensland could do the same to get rid of the water
Glad you mentioned it’s the “wet season” in Queensland. Raises the question as to why anyone would schedule a five day cricket match in the “wet season”!
No such thing as a "rain bomb". It's called the summer rains. This has happened practically every year of the 60+ I've lived here. It's the monsoons from Asia that hit the northern tip of Australia. People are lucky that we rarely have the accompanying cyclones that used to hit us every summer around Christmas time.
@Gaz I've turned 78 ftom C. Q. remembering well monsoon troughs etc in December just as the schools broke up for Christmas break. Funnel Creek and that river up north of Rockhampton would be flooded. Motorists with caravans would be lucky as they'd have somewhere dry to sit it out 'till the flood water subsided. This could be a typical wet season I knew as a child.
Brisbane had a flood in 1974, again in 2011 and 2022. Also, a massive storm in early 1985, caused a billion dollars damage ( huge amount then ) 185 kmh winds and big hailstones. Had another one in 2014. Had a storm also in early 2001 that caused a lot of flooding and wind damage, hundreds of millions in losses. This is nothing new in Brisbane or Gold Coast. Has been occurring for decades.
Why would they do that come on you want to come up with these theories tell us why. When you consider how much it's going to cost to clean up it just seems a ridiculous idea. Please tell me
Big deal it's the wet season in the 70's and 80's this was normal wet season. The wet seasons are slowly coming back to normal so it's nothing new. Just alot of this younger generation never seen weather like this. Wait to we get another cyclone travel down the coast again like the 90's then you will see some rain
I'm not saying it's not (because government certainly does partake in geoengineering), but this is just the typical big wet storm season like we used to get in the 1960's-1980's and is caused by the monsoons from South East Asia hitting the northern tip of Australia and heading down wards. People should be thankful that we don't have as many cyclones as we used to around Christmas time.
LOL, the Ironee. Carn't buy a water splitting Hydrogen sparkplugg 4rom SuperCheap Auto. With water in yaw fuel tank. & @ le same time BP fuel station go's under water. Isn't it IRONIC, yeh i reallee do THINK!!

One day they'll actually build a pipe and send the water in land making sure there's no floods but they would rather build stadiums and film studios
How ridiculous

I live in Brisbane... We had a RAIN BOMB the other morning at 4am and a Storm is about to Hit right now.
yes your city centre has been seriously flooded twice in ten years; it will happen again!
Worth the media house price?

@@JamieNelson-v4f Well ordo ab chao is the reason but having said that, if geo engineering is producing rain, then happy days.

We need to give more taxes to quu, not sure why....
No you just need to do what South Australia did and build a pipe, to take the water inland
When the ground start shaking very soon
This is Queensland😊😊.
yep...what a disaster area...the only place in the World where a country routinely shi*s on itself...and anyone silly enough to live there...
