Not surprising. They only had about 7 feet of wing on each side. From what I understand they had to keep rubber guards on the leading edge of the wings when parked to keep people from cutting themselves.
Absolutely a fantastic model build and control system. I think as a pilot myself the gentleman operating the plane is probably a pilot also and a good one. All and all it’s a grand video in every way. Congratulations to all involved!
I saw Jimmy Jabara land the real thing at Carswell AFB in the 60s . It had a hoarse scream that was unmistakable. He was part of the B58 test group and the first jet to jet fighter ace. He died tragically in Florida when his daughter who was driving got into a car crash. He was only 43 years old. RIP Jimmy.
This bird could win first place in the RussJet competition. Absolutely amazing jet !!! I wish I knew what kind of turbine he used in this plane, and how much thrust it develops.
Sehr beeindruckende Landung.
Due to it's high crash frequency it earned the title "widow maker", set many altitude and speed records but turned poorly and landed at high speed due to small rear mounted wings. Short utilization by USAF
The air intake almost looks like on the F-35 . Now we need something from a helicopter to drive a fan in the exhaust nozzle to have a true single engine plane.
Why, why why why? You could put that turbine in a kit plane and fly, like pilot a real airplane with it. And fly in the air, yourself. Bizarre priorities to me.
Excellent piloting! Even full scale pilots had their hands full with this bird; especially on landing!
Not surprising. They only had about 7 feet of wing on each side. From what I understand they had to keep rubber guards on the leading edge of the wings when parked to keep people from cutting themselves.
That’s for damn sure .
F-104. The RC pilot, Sanwald. The demonstration. Camera and operator. Each as impressive as the other. Makes for a wonderful viewing experience!

That is the most unbelievable scale RC model EVER!!!
Stunning. I take my hat off to you Sir. The most realistic flight I have ever seen.
Not in a lifetime would you be able to see this much dedication to the hobby! Phenomenal job. Pilot skills. & aircraft. Like history itself!
A perfect combination of realism,piloting and filming.Congratulations!
Turbine Startup sound was superb
A stunning model, beautifully flown. Maybe in my next life…….
Absolut fantastic, great pilot
Very awesome. Superb touchdown there, buttered it.
I don't even want to think about the carnage if this aircraft had a radio glitch and flew into the spectators standing on the sidelines.
Absolutely beautiful build
Beautiful plane and excellent piloting!
Thanks a lot! 😎
super beau l ' avion est magnifique le pilotage propre fluide Bravo
Woooow!! Danke für diesen beeindruckenden Flug! Good Sound! :)
You said a mouthful sister !
Danke .
That is really something!
Brilliant Pilot skills there on a magnificent Bird. 👍👍

Wow, absolutely breathtaking, stunning. Well done!
I love the realistic inertia of these large-scale models.
Sehr sehenswert. Welch ein Bauaufwand. Aber der lohnt sich, wenn man fliegen kann.

Beautiful model, beautifully flown!!
Having grown up around the CF 104 in Cold Lake Alberta Canada. This brings back so many memories. ! ❤❤❤❤❤
Great comment, thanks 😎
That is truly amazing, so realistic that I keep watching the pilot for some reaction, beautiful, thanks for sharing 👍😊
WOW!!! Stunning👌
Heavy Duty !! GOOD stuff !!
Fantastic model, great pilot and impressive videography. Well done.
Glad you enjoyed it 👍😎
Deadly fly by passes.
This thing is a bomb.. . Scary!
Wow.... Bravo.... Very good job ❤
This is incredible so scale and even a scale landing well done this is a true pilot
How amazing!!
Amazing model. Congratulations
Thank you! Cheers!
A thing of absolute beauty!
wow well flown
That is next level
Absolutely gorgeous and your an awesome pilot
Looks real sharp
Excellent a/c and piloting, as usual, but the camerawork always topnotch! 👍👍👍
Maaany thanks for your great feedback. I appreciate this very much 😎👌
The real F-104 was called a "missile with a man in it.". This is just a "missile"!

Very nice flying.
Hope that little Pilot knows he's sitting in "The Widowmaker"
Protracted, super-large-scale r/c builds probably makes the wives feel as if they were widows. 😉
Incredible.
Very Impressive flight and aircraft! Kudos. :o)
Awesome!
That was epic! Is it a real reheat or lights in the jet pipe?
The real version of this plane was a flying coffin. Let's hope it doesn't crash like the real one did so often.
Wow....just wow!
At what point do you just make it big enough to get in?
Gorgeous!!!!
If it’s as safe as the full size widow maker h’ll need all the luck he can muster.
that was impressive
Amazing!
Wow Wow Wow
Thank you, ARF ? , Just kiddin, Magnificent, like Duh.
An onboard camera would have been wonderful.
It’s too cool for school
It's sad to say this model will be the only way for future generations to see an F-104 flying! Most have been scrapped or turned into gate guards!!!
Tops!!!
Hey I got a great idea use this jet to spray for mosquitoes when we have years that they're bad and make some money at the same time
Love this
As much as I think this is as cool as it can get I always dislike those fake afterburner lights effects
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You should use black smoke like the original.

this was in Germany, but i think u also have to register the start in advance here
Guided Missile. 😊

Wow
Geil😊
Woow
what is the top speed of this aircraft?
Does it kill pilots as well .
Dach Extension
Playback speed at 75%, it looks more real.
Wow. Just make it a little bigger and put a seat in it.
Stunning a work of art and engineering. Such a large thoroughbred looks to confined in the RC flying box. Can my puppy get a ride in it?
Should have said FAN-TAS-TIC.
Beautiful plane but unfortunately unstable and problematic to fly.. Many accidents... Known as the widow factory or the flying coffin...
79KG it's a RC hobby ? .....
If they could just get it to sound like a 104.
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🤍

😂 owning a plane cost 💲 more than you realize. This RC jet is a hobby and the pilot is awesome!😎
