Beatboxing was born in 1980’s NYC as one of the five elements of hip-hop with the guidance of legends like Doug E Fresh, Kid Lucky, and Rahzel. After decades of evolution underground and overseas, innovation continues to push the art form.
American Beatbox is a platform for the beatboxing community to carry the torch into the future, dedicated to helping beatboxers reach their potential and connect with audiences worldwide via content, livestreams, merchandise, battles and events.
The American Beatbox Championships is the premiere beatbox competition in the USA. Every November, over Veteran’s Day Weekend, the most talented beatboxers from around the country come to NYC to compete for the titles, bragging rights, and a spot to represent their country at the World Champs. 2019 marked the ten year anniversary of the ABCs, and the first official year of American Beatbox launching as a platform.

It is a switch though, no point in doing a 5 - 10 second vocal melody intro then when the beat drops it's a different melody.
Sometimes they do it as a counter, basically just replicating their beat but making it better to show them up

I like audical alot, but its hard to root for him in a battle like this when he just uses shit hes already released WAY prior to this battle happening. Also ballistix has a point, dude does utilize his inward bass as a primary go to EVERY single round. Itd be nice to hear some different dynamics from him.

@@occitany2982 He's been doing these routines since 2017, in 2018 he got them better. We just didnt get to see him use most of those routines in 2017, but we sure did in 2018 and last year.

I think that the judges made the wrong verdict. Now I will explain why. In the first round Audical won, this is understandable even to a moron - because Audical had good control and different variations of Inward basses were also demonstrated. In the second round, Balistix won because his technique was much more complicated. If I were a judge on the spot, I would do OT.
I disagree because even if you consider that Balistix's second round was better (which is pretty debatable), the difference between Audical's first round and balistix's first round is wider than the second round. You also need to consider that in this format you judge the battle as a whole, not who won a round.

Audical won that battle for sure. But I get a real negative vibe from him. He's always talking shit or making shitty faces. I've never once seen him be hype and support the other guy. I know it's a battle but that doesn't mean you need to be a dick. Now I want to remind everyone that's just my personal opinion. As far as Beatboxing goes Audical is a monster but he does work that Inward Bass a bit much. But then again a lot of beat boxers over work the lip roll. So that's just his style.
