System Dynamics Tutorial 11 - Solving a Conduction PDE using Modelica

This tutorial introduces the construction of a simple PDE model of heat conduction in a rod, the discretization of this PDE using simple finite differences, and the solution of the resulting discretized state-space model using Modelica. It is intended for classroom instruction as part of ME 450 at Penn State University.
