I'm guessing you have been home for over a month now- maybe even two- and I am so so so happy to still have your videos. You have a gift for videography and such a beautiful sensitivity that makes your videos so special. Thanks!
Wow, so great pictures, they are like incredible impressionnist art paintings. Thanks for all this! And thanks as well for taking care of the tiny frogs 😉
That does look amazing. Mad respect for your hike and all who attempt the thru hikes! There is a bike route that mimics the PCT which I'm planning on doing someday!
It has been such a pleasure watching your journey. I had to laugh at the conversation in the tent beside you one night haha. Lovely scenery, and fun honest commentary.
I"ve always wanted to see the Goat Rock trail and wow! Felt like I was there, thank you! Love how you capture the bits of life that are happening at that moment.
Thank you for your latest vid🙂👍 As always great photography 🐝🦋⛰🦟🌲🌇🐎 Mayonnaise🤢I,m sorry but I just don't love you any more 💔‼ In fact I can stand it as sea food sourse base but on trail 🤮💩🤮💩🤮‼(now thats what you call pushing your luck) Who 's wistling at me? A Marmot ! I would never of thought they would sing thus!! Looking forward to the next one inspite of its ominous title 😏 🤩😍😘
Your journey is inspiring and a joy to follow through your well made videos. I especially enjoy seeing the animals and plants and scenery. Happy hiking wishes, even when it's rough, physically and emotionally. You'll have wonderful memories!
Twiggy, your camera work is impeccable. You have such a great eye for framing, and composing the shot, you're a natural. Thanks for your distinctive view of the PCT. You are providing us You Tube followers with an amazing glimpse of your hike, I love it, and you too.
great shots! Mt Tahoma, aka Mt Rainier is my favorite mountain. IF you think Goat Rocks was beautiful, which it is, wait until you see the North Cascades and Glacier.
Hi G'ma Bartman! Those butterflies remind me, I recently watched a video about why blue is so rare in nature - and there has been some really awesome in-depth studies of butterfly wings... which have scales... which on a microscopic level have structures that block all but the blue wavelengths - so they only appear blue and actually, basically, sort of, really aren't blue at all. I'm such a half-assed nerd. lol. Fun fact about Mt.Adams (Klickitat): It's one of the few mountains in the area (re)named after an American. Hood (Wy'East) and Rainier (Tahoma) are both named after British military men - AFTER the war of Independence. Mt.St Helens (Loowit) was named after a British Baron... Despite living in WA my entire(ish) life and being an avid hiker, I've never been to Goat Rocks. I have a trail or two on my to-do for next year though. I'm looking forward to the National Park Service escalator system XD. I've always heard llamas are friendly, but I've never met one that didn't look like it was gonna spit - and then bite. I've never heard a marmot whistle... but yeah... supercool catch on your part! Olympic National Park (WA state) has the Olympic Marmot - I have no idea what's special about it from any other marmot, but apparently that's the only place in the world said marmots live. I mentioned I'm a half-assed nerd, right? LOL. Thanks for your appreciation of our area 💚.
Oops, you missed the alternate route where the best ridgeline hiking is at. Please let folks know that the ALTERNATE ROUTE is the most spectacular. It's dicey, but so are the two snowfields you have to cross on the main route. I have a Guiding business with llamas, and we take folks through Goat Rocks on the PCT. The llamas and one Guide take the main route through the snowfields, the 2nd Guide and the clients go over the alternate route by Old Snowy summit. It's an awesome piece of trail.
Wow! What a beautiful views. 🏕️ Nice campsite -you said..."and there's no animals..." (Ha,ha, it was full of those 🦟🦟🦟). Incredible, all those animals during your walk; so beautiful 😍 And be safe❣️
This latest video is truly captivating. After all you've been through it is imposslble to really know what your personal experience is like at this stage of your journey. Oh well that is something that us armchair adventurers can never truly know. I will say that at minute 19 I think I smelled the pine trees for a couple of seconds. (insert mouth/tongue click here).

Absolutely incredible!! Backpacking out west has ruined it from me on the east coast...

I hiked the PCT in 2021, and I totally agree this was my favorite section as well!
We couldve nearly had a triple T.
A new Thanksgiving Twiggy Tube
I love mayo, but I use mayo packets. You can get them for free at a lot of convenience stores and you don't have to worry about it going bad.
Yey, Twiggy tube.
Off-camber hardened snow/ice is no joke
WOW.... Thats so beautiful....Thanks
You have found a way to capture the beauty of the mountains, flowers and animals. You are clearly enjoying this section of the PCT.
