Wonderful restoration. I love seeing guitars like this from the past brought to life.

do you happen to know the size of the trussrod nut? :D i know it must be either 6mm or 8mm.
very cool guitar! i actually found an Musima Elgita at the local dumbster side. Perfect original condition. My guess was, somebody died and the stupid relatives threw it away. luckily i was able to safe it. even cam with original case and trem arm. even has a roller saddle bridge stock.
thoppse Simento pickups sound amazing imho. really great p90 style single coils. they were actually designed in a university lab by a professor for electrical engineering. your guitar still has the original version 1 of simento pickups, so it must be pre 1971 if i remembner correctly. when they started changing the pickups they allegedly also started using lower quality parts and woods.
Simento Pickups are also my favourite pickups. the clarity is unbelievable even at high gain. Hard to express in words.... it like if you play a chords even in higher gain you can hear each individual note very clear.
neck is very fat but actually pretty nice, mine has the small frets though, almost like a fretless wonder les paul.
however it goes out of tune all the time :D might need thicker strings and/or different tuners, because they slip a lot.
btw: there used to be a russian guy on ebay selling reproduction pickguards for these guitars. they were even made of bakelit. not sure if he is still selling tthem, he certainly was 2 years ago.

Maybe rare, but not good. Former East Germany‘s Musima Factory made horrible Guitar‘s….
