Hi Cali, I also used to use just use soap when I started to clean and remove Face makeup. Some products still say it does. But some consumers would see makeup on their cotton pads when using toners. Including myself.Now products have different makeup removers such as makeup towelettes , Micellar water, eye makeup remover Towelettes makeup wipes quick way to remove makeup then use cleansers to clean the face.
