@Rabea. Brother you look so fucking good. Happy and healthy. I’ve been working hard at it myself. I watched a video you made just 6 months ago!!!! Svelte and slim!!! Keep it up! Also guitar tones something something....(ha ha).
@@jayroxx2580 how is it working for crunch and say heavy-blues or classic rock sound? Like say open, non compressed type of distortion? I tried 120w head, but only for super clean, or full on gain and never anything in between, what a shame ...
@@stanislavmigra It is insanely versatile, man!! I love it.. It's 3 channel, but you pick your favorite 2.. 1 channel is "Clean" or "Rhythm".. (Separate clean and rhythm volume, you can set them both how you like, respectively), and there is a rhythm gain, as well. They share a 3 band eq, all with pull out knobs for further flexibility! The rhythm gain, (if you have rhythm instead of clean selected), will bring you from clean to slightly dirty to little breakup to getting nasty! Trust me, there is no compressed sound to it! It is hard rocking, open, and can get loud and very nasty! Then, you have a "Lead" for your 2nd switchable channel. It has it's own volume, gain, and 3 band eq, with pull on the eq knobs for further tight/full sounds, as well. On top of that, a foot-switchable "Boost", with it's own 1-10 level knob, selectable on any channel. Also, you have a "Dynamics" knob, which brings overall dynamics and response way up, (one of my favorite features), as well a wattage knob, which can go from nothing to 120W. It gets seriously ridiculous, and it is high quality sound. I actually use a Keeley compressor pedal because it is so open and loud, I have to contain it sometimes.. I opened for some big bands, pretty good sized venues, and on sound check I couldn't get it above 30-35% volume, without the sound guy saying, "Damn, that sounds good, but you gotta turn it down!" It also has an xlr/D.I. for recording, with a 1-10 knob, and a killer FX loop!..I have had it for about 5-6 years, and it still mesmerizes me!! If you want a top quality amp, and can't spend $5k, for a Mesa or Diezel, it's definitely a great choice. It's not cheap, but can compete with the top brands! Hope that helps!
Something was done just right here. Really great features on these and they sound great. Nice looking and matching line of quality pedals. I couldn't pick just one, I want em' all! I Haven't been this impressed with a line of pedals in a long time. (I sure hope they're working on an octave fuzz.) Excellent that they went with 4 knobs on each and the 3 way switches. Great review!
Man I'm definitely getting this Laney Black Country and I also agree you look healthy man so that's a reminder to the rest of us to eat right sleep right and to get exercise
Always love your videos and your way of showing the new products. Rock On! Whats on tap next time? The pedals sound great because of your enthusiasm!!!
Those dials really were an inspired choice, I'm glad you appreciated the vibe. The pedals look like hammer and screwdriver but obviously are more subtle than just blunt tools. Very cool indeed. Have to admit I love the convenience of a multi-FX and the navel-gazing of DAW-based FX, but instinctively pedal chains are just the way to go.
I own the secret path and iommi boost, both fantastic pedals as good as pedals twice the price, with the secret path being my favourite versatile reverb. Seriously considering purchasing the spiral array based on how good my experience has been with these two.
Hi Rabea, 1. Have you any plans for a re-visited episode, whereby you cover some of your fave pedals and amp combinations a couple of years down the line? ie. Boost, od, mod, delay and reverbs. 2. Can I get The Guitarist T shirt in purple? (Sold out (Grey) at the moment)
I have the Secret Path and TI Boost from BCC. Both are fantastic pedals. Also, that tele sounds so freaking good. I don't know why I always feel very "meh" on normal Telecasters, but the Custom Shop models always sound so damn good. I too have a CS Tele, and it is the only Tele I have played that I like the tone of... and it is the best playing and sounding guitar I have ever played.
24:27 Oh I wouldn't ever use this setting huh? This is a unique range for a chorus and am considering buying now for that very reason so... I am now off to research prices for it along with the Steel Park.
26:36 thanks for playing some closure from opeth^^ And I don't actually care if you are being taken away. I enjoy just listening to you. you pull the best out of those petals. i wuldn't have minded if that video took an hour. Just enjoy what you're doing ;-)
@@eskoriakiebraqeyo7942 I Love Damnation as a chill-ish dark album. I also really liked Heritage. Opeth was one of the first bands that had some death metal stuff I got into. \m/
Let me tell you in a completely heterosexual way, you look great now days my man. I saw an older video the other day, don't even look like the same person.
I don't follow you in a ridiculous way, I want you to play great. If you don't start playing, I don't just want to follow you, so the words go to hell, man.
Holla! Love the review chap, peace and love as always!
Thank you so much! Great sounding and looking pedals! Had a lot of fun :)
When you said, "the reason in using the Soldano SLO 100 is because..." I was waiting for "is because it's mine and it's fucking incredible!" 🤘
Holy Christ you’re looking good brother, true inspiration for bigger folk like me

I also can't get over how slim he got over the years. Good work Afro, great tones.
Philip Sayce at 22:15 😍 !!
This boost is insane !!!
Bea , when you play your Tele it's always stratospheric 👏
Telepheric, not Stratopheric. Lol!
One of the best pedals I've ever heard, the super saturated girthy distortion/fuzz is so killer on that Monolith! Wow!
That teaser of the Totemist at 17:49 is pure fire. Love you Bea, you're my favourite guitar player, hands down. Cheers mate ❤️
Loving the Opeth vibe/riff at 26:35. Killer
Love my Steelpark! I’m glad you’ve done a video as I thought these were completely overlooked.
steelpark and monolith sounded GLORIOUS together...sludge paradise!
oh shit, when Bea started playing Opeth my head just exploded. My favorite guitarist playing my favorite band!
I'd like to hear how Laney Iron heart sounds with you
me too
I second that strongly. Especially comparing a normal IRT120 to the SLS
Me, too! That's my main amp, and it's a f*cking beast! I will never get rid of it!..

Man, that chorus and reverb do sound lovely, specially together. Cool demo as usual bro.
I have only watched the intro and these tones allready give me chills. Great Vid
Nailed it, dude! Killer demo. The products seem dope as hell too.
Cheers
Rabea, I really, really dig your ambient, quieter, reverb and modulation-laden tones. Super amazing stuff...

Very nice demo, and as always, it's a treat to hear you play.
24:55 and a hint of Living Color. Superb demo of some killer pedals

Nice - would be great to hear an acoustic through the Secret Path...
"If you're wondering why I'm using the SLO..." - dude, it's your new toy. You don't need any reasons to use it, much less to tell us about it ;)
Looking good brother, it’s been a while since I checked in! 👍 nice pedals too
That Tele sounds amazing with the Monolith and the Steelpark! =)

Beautiful tone and playing, Rabea. Thanks for playing it clean. May I know what tele is this and what pickups are on it?
Thank you! Much appreciated - it’s a Ltd Edition CS Esquire Special - with the ‘51 Nocaster band wound pickups. Basically a tele hahah
Sounds amazing my friend. Have a great weekend.
That monolith got this American boy ordering from Andertons!!
Literally only got the Laney ironheart 60h. I can't get over how good it is.

The Steel Park sounds wonderful.
These pedals looks sick man!
So gifted and as usual awesome! Can we assume (and you know what that means), that you're in Drop C..perhaps?
that fender sounds so nice
I've got the Secret Path reverb. I love it.
why didn't they send you a Tony Iommi boost pedal? That's the black country customs pedal I have. it is amazing!

Just noticed how much your profile resembles Tremonti when you're shredding
Does the Monolith become more responsive if you play harder? Or does the tone sit at the same place however you play? Thanks
Does the Steel Park have the ability to brighten up a dark sounding amp?
Damn this sounds good. I love when he strays a little out of metal into the heavy rock/bluesy stuff.
Closure is my favorite song on damnation
Busting out some Opeth!!!!
wicked!
The secret path sounds soo much better than the Boss RV 5, which is maybe the biggest contender in this price range.
26:41 wtfffff.... That is a nasty run.
Opeth!
very Opeth sounding, cool!
Opeth - Closure

I think one day when youve done all you need to do, you will be the next hans zimmer.
A Philip Sayce riff! \m/
I couldn't find out how much they are?

Thanks man - you can find them at Sleeplessapparel.co.uk
off topic but, does anyone know where to find those shirts? i like a lot!

@@RabeaMassaad thx Mr Massaad
what patch cables are you using in this video? like the small ones bwtween steelpark and monolith?
They’re some custom patch cables from Dan at TPS. I believe the eminence? I think? I could be wrong. Just a cable kit style patch cable etx
Is it me or is the Monolith very much like a treble booster, but more versatile?
I think its the Tony Iommy signature treble booster but without the TI signature on it.
@@ithemba makes sense!
What guitar are you using??
