Years ago my grandmother showed me how to French braid your own hair without picking it up and holding it between your fingers. Brush your hair back and start at the top. Hold a section of hair and as you take hair from each side of your head instead of picking up and twisting it just press it to your head and hold it in place while you go from side-to-side adding hair in. I've never seen anyone else do it that way except for her!

just buy blinds instead of curtains. I have blinds and they're a lot easier to open and close (actually they aren't). I mean sometimes they do get stuck and the opening thing on the string broke off of mine, so just keep that in mind.

@@arkojuly they are called dutch braids. They are done just the opposite of the normal braids. You can find the tutorials for them easily.
