I find your videos extremely fascinating all the while thinking it’s a shame on how many small engines are sent to the scrap yard because there is a lack of knowledgeable people such as yourself, that could rebuild these engines. I would like to think of you as a teacher and that there other people watching your videos that learn from you, where they too can become mechanically inclined enough to successfully rebuild small engines also. It is good to see you are wearing heavy duty rubber gloves to protect your hands.
one question. But why not change the main and crankshaft bearings? You replaced the piston and then save a few dollars on the bearings. Eventually a half-done job, which makes the engine totally unreliable. Sin
well, the wirebrushed surface on the cilinder head would also work like a charm probably, and using the wirebrush in the valve seats. man whatever, i have given some commentary like this on a video from the same channel but then i was made out for some stupid westerner that tells people what to do. its a junk rebuild, just new gaskets and oil seals and a thorough cleanup. if you dont get a honda engine to run you are doing something very very wrong, the high stationairy rpm's give away that something is very wrong with this engine (and also the unability to run at low rpm's). I have some experience rebuilding very vintage honda four stroke engines (also other brand two stroke engines) and alot of stuff shown here isnt even rookie mistake, its just plain not knowing what you are doing. but then again, im just some westerner bashing asians probably (the comment that i gave last time was very very constructive and very polite)

Why no valve grinding? You should change bearings as well

Never run an engine without an exhaust, your exhaust valve/valves will get burned.
