  • This song is a symphonic metal nod to the South Louisiana band, "Rufus Jagneaux" who originally recorded the legendary Cajun song, "Opelousas Sostan". It was written by my old friend, Benny Graef, and recorded and released back in 1971. Benny and I met in the 90's. We worked together. Benny was a helluva bassist and I was a drummer in a power metal band. We hit it off, instantly. I used to tell him I was going to do a metal version of this song , one day, and we'd laugh. Thanks to Ai, I was able to do just that. It's not a cover, but more of a tribute to my old friend. Love you, ole buddy.
