Rescued, brought to a shelter, adopted, dumped, rescued again, back at the same shelter. Wow. That's a traumatic journey for a little house rabbit. Very glad he's safe now! ❤ 🐇
Hey everyone, I’m a good friend of Nicole’s and this is so in-character for her. She’s the most loving and kind-hearted person I know. She still has bunny and she cherishes him everyday. What an amazing story.
I have 7 rabbits total. Two of them were dumped and caught, one was to only be a temporary summer resident, but I guess that was just story to get him a new home. So he is now happily living with the rabbit I took in before him, who is female. I don't know why people are that lazy that they can't take them to a shelter 😢 The one who was found by my brother-in-law at his workplace, there was another one found a couple days earlier that another guy took home. I think with the time of year and how young they were, I think they were probably Easter rabbits.
The person who dumped this rabbit should be ashamed of themselves. Even when my rabbit got sick, we cared for her until the final moments. Rabbits aren't property to discard, there are proper shelters to take them if you can't cope. I gave my rabbits to a pet company when I wasn't able to take care of them, they will go to a family who will love them. It should be an offence to abandon any animal. The poor thing must feer lonley and afraid, total betrayal and unacceptable.
@lyndawise1042 Ooh, how cute. I'll miss my bunnies. But where I live is not appropriate for bunnies. I'd rather someone gave them a good home then keep them locked in a cage. I'm getting a guinea pig this year.
They should be prosecuted tbh. I just assume it can't be proven he was purposefully dumped (even though it's obvious he was!) and that's why they won't be charged 😮💨
My daughter started watching you when she got her bunny. Bean was an Easter gift from her grandparents. But she LOVES her bunny. Bean is almost 5 years old now.❤ I couldn't imagine letting her go outside 💔
Those Zumies and kisses at the end are everything ❤ I’ve had my baby now for 9 years and I can’t even imagine my life without him. It’s not easy being a pet mom BUT it’s so so worth it. ❤❤
He's so beautiful, and those girls are so awesome! My daughter had a bun. And decided that she just couldn't keep him anymore because her room is just too small for his playpen. So I tried to find him a home. The only potential home said he'd be used for breeding and kept in a barn. Um NO. So I ended up adopting him. He has a large pen, never caged, in my room. He has hidey houses, toys, fresh hay always, and he LOVES freeze dried apples, so he gets a couple slices each day. I never really wanted a bunny, but I have one. But I have to say....NEVER....not once, did dumping this poor, sweet boy in a park, or anywhere else, ever cross my mind. That's just a disgusting person that would do that. Why not at least bring him back to the shelter??? Just terrible. So happy you guys were able to save him!
Also, for anyone that wants to know. If you go to Tractor Supply, you can get a 50 pound bag of wood pellet horse bedding that works great for buns. It's only around 8-10 dollars. Where I live anyway. Lasts a nice long time!
It is sickening, so many people adopt an animal then treat them badly or neglectful. Or just abandon them. There's too much proof of how bad many people can be, too many rescue groups and genuinely kind people that document such things. I'm just thankful that there are people who care, these poor animals. Thankyou for helping the bun! ❤
So proud of both these people who chose to stop and help the bunny, realized the bunny wasn't a wild one, and did something. LOVE the zoomies at the end, Feta is def happy in his new home and loves Nicki 🥰
All three of you are awesome!!! thank you so much for rescuing that rabbit and being kind to the animals. Nothing but love and respect for all three of you. Thank you for sharing your video. It was a treat to watch.
Getting down to ground level and being still so the bunny can engage with you - putting food next to you then putting a towel over quickly is how I have done it.
I am so glad that you were able to help that poor innocent bunny! If I find out who threw that poor bunny out in the woods defenseless they will have to talk to my two friends Smith & Wesson! Please, Please do not do anything bad or even have the thought cross your mind to do anything bad to bunny rabbits for any reason!!!!

I lured her into an enclosure that my guy built to protect my plants from the squirrels. I gained her trust , it took me several months however . But when I trapped her , she went really wild . I put my house coat over her to catch her . Yes, I was in my PJs lol . She did try to jump a few times , about 3 feet . Very powerful hind legs ! It was Sept. 04, 2021 . She’s thriving today😂. Since they have the owner information, they should bring charges again that person for abandoning and animal abused.
Then have them banned from all shelters in surrounding areas.
Or at least NOT allow that owner to adopt again.
