I have had my calcium reactor for 6 months and here is my review of the Aquamaxx T1 calcium reactor. Hopefully this helps folks that are new to calcium reactors or who are looking the buy one.
Wusup simply I have the same problem my system doesn’t have a high demand really so my alk is staying at 9.6 and doesn’t seem to be dropping So I haven’t even turned on my reactor cause I’m figuring it will raise it to high What did you do? I have the kamoer carbon doser and geo reactor
If you have a regular water change schedule this could be keeping your levels in check. My alk had a steady drop which I found out by testing over a period of time. Then I was able to tune the reactor based off of that test.
I am thinking of purchasing this tomorrow. What are your thoughts on this ? would you buy it again
If your talking about a calcium reactor in general then yes I would purchase one again.
Did you remove the pre filter
Yes it kept getting clogged and the flow would slow down.
👊👍
Nice setup! I want a kamoer to go with mine.

Are you using the Kamoer to push water through the reactor or pulling water through it?
I am pulling water through the reactor with the Kamoer this creates less pressure on the system.
