Everything is coming along. What a beautiful life you have built there, was not easy, but you make it seem that way. That says a lot about your amazing character!
Hi James, I love the idea of the Texas theme your trying to achieve, I just wanted to say as a Texas history buff " Remember the Alamo" and as a suggestion you could name the four rooms in the new construction the Crocket room the Travis room the Bowie room and the Dickinson room. Just a suggestion Love your videos.
I always wanted a big seahorse in a statue. There was a seahorse statue in San Diego near the coast it was a landmark . Nice for the coast. It was about 7 foot high.
I would make the dorsal spikes go down the back and make the mane more free flowing like a regular horse. I am no expert but I think that would definitely look like a horse dragon hybrid
Now palang makaka watch paps.
MAN!!! Your design ideas are genius, love what you're doing with the resort and especially the sculptures! Is the email for booking a room good for private messages?
@James/Melinda; fantastic update/progress…lol😂I know you’re enjoying yourself, I can see it when you Smile…I know you’re never going to be done; please enjoy your Retirement as best you can…
Congratulations on what you have accomplished thus far James & Mel WOW!! what a elegant show place bro I haven't seen any better there in the PI. Man it's been a pleasure to watch your place come to what it is . Everything is just breathe taking . The small accent pieces & the multi pillows placed, things like that along with the attention on precision construction brings it all together stunningly ❤. That Quarter horse is going to be killer down on the river bro can't wait for that to get in place . Hey this is just a ideal those old Texas license plate's why not encase them in a thick clear epoxy or acrylic poured square you know wouldn't that prevent oxidation ??? Just a thought . Man I sure pray & hope I can get myself together so I can come stay awhile with yall there I'd love to do that for sure . I'm still doing wound care at this time . But I'm still Scratching & clawing my way to getting better . God bless yall James 🙏 tell Mel I'm looking forward to one of her Texican Tacos lol 😆.
@TexasFilipino great one mate you and Mel are doing so good love watching your show what a nice place you have and love the way you look after the workers and your family you are teaching the how to do things in a proper way love from nick and kerrie and will try to work out how to buy you a coffee ☕️ 😀
I would keep it inside the house,,it’s not good for taxidermy items at that beach house,,too open and no air conditioning,,😊really looking good so far,,good idea no tiles,,
Okay, you end the video with opening lyrics for everyone's favorite Garth song... does that mean that I have friends in low places? 🤔 🤣😂 I was trying to figure out the Ms. Ecuador and "Downpayment On A Quarter Horse" titles! 🤣😂 You get the cantina going, my Wife and I might need to come get some dinner! Of course, it's a bit of a commute from Angeles City 🤣😂
The lack of discipline isn't just your neighborhood. It even shows in the adults in certain manners. There's things my wife does that just blows my mind. I've broken her of many of them. And it's the same with their dogs. They all act like psychotic wild animals at times. I'm the only one who trains them. Otherwise it's like living inside a dog kennel. We have 4 outside and 4 inside. All 8 will bark rapid fire nonstop and im the only one who tells them to stop. It's like barking is music to a Filipino's ears.
Will the community association or your private subdivision restrict traffic/customers unlike a venue with open access? I see the cantina serving your overnight guests and people in the community. But I just hope the cantina does not overwhelm the privacy of the guests staying on the property when this becomes a local attraction. I’m thinking you’re going to need to purchase (if you haven’t already) the adjoining or fronting lot one of these days…for the chickens, or additional animals, other projects, or parking. Really enjoy watching the development of “Casa de Texas Filipino”
We have an additional lot. Privacy.... for years I have been the only one who tried to enforce privacy until I gave up and decided we will just have this place. One lady in here is charging people from the outside to park cars in here. There will be 7 or 8 cars in front of her place plus 2 or 4 trikes and a couple motorcycles. Another has a house in here strictly for parties only while they live in a quiet subdivision near Santa Barbara. You will wake up to the streets line up with cars and them partying away. Then another wealthy Pinoy now has done the same thing... built a play house out here. The house across the street same thing ... no body lives in it but the family and all the families friends comes out and crashes there with no power or water there. They just CAMP OUT in there use battery lamps and charcoal to cook. Then leave ... they do always clean up and are polite. In fact only maybe two houses in here have not been overwhelming and they don't live in them they are abroad. I am the only one who spent money to improve the place. It is a defunct subdivision and the owner of the subdivision signed a letter giving us permission to do what we want. The rest of the property is seized by PDIC due to a bank corruption and scandal.
They recently opened a Texas Roadhouse in Cebu City in Ayala. And it's awful. The prices are much higher than America and the quality of food is poor. The service is terrible. And the menu is once again the Filipino fusion version. I hate when i go to an Iconic American restaurant and all the food has been ruined by a Filipino chef trying to make a Filipino version of the dish. You can find Authentic Japanese, Korean and Thai food, but nearly impossible to find authentic American, Tex Mex, Italian food here.
Everything is coming along. What a beautiful life you have built there, was not easy, but you make it seem that way. That says a lot about your amazing character!
Geli looked so cute in her Miss Ecuador costume.
Love to see you do an El Paso room in that new addition over the pool.
Simple menu with 5 or 6 options. Good idea .
Grilled seafood dish if that’s considered a Tex Mex dish.

With the number plates James, get some good clear resin, dip the plates into it and it should protect them👍🇵🇭🇺🇸🇦🇺

@ Thanks for following up James. I was under the assumption the community was still somewhat private.
Not texas without a good horse shoe pit ,but for your place, probably liability issues ,kids, etc. Might not be practical, maybe Cornhole instead .
No throwing steel here . LOL
lately i have heard the game cornhole , back in the day cornhole had a complete different meaning ,
Why shorten the horse. Just add a step to get on it. Lol. 🤷♂️
Shetland Nickel Horse
