Yorkshire man I use a ft857d for the uhf and vhf it will also do hf . Got a anytone at588 for 4m . Never Tried a kenwood radio my self thanks for watching
Ill have to purchase the interface cable to do it. you can also set it up with just the RF connections that would work . but I found that if I keyed up on UHF/VHF the tuner would still try and tune the antenna in ill look into the cables for the 857D thanks for watching
I've tried setting this up multiple times and it won't work. I have the IC-718 and LDG Z-100Plus and the connecting cable. I setup the initial screen to Tuner "4", turn off the radio, restart radio, and all that happens when I press "TUNER" on the radio the "Tune" icon flashes and nothing happens with the actual tuner. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any advice?
@@Windmill97 I had the same thing to happen. I have the LDG-AT1000 Pro II tuner and it did nothing on the "4" setting on the Icom IC-718. I put it on the "18" setting and it works.
Bad ass! Just what I needed!
Thanks!👍
Glad it helped
I used to have this tuner but gone back to a manual one you can get better matches and you can't beat the old needle displays
I like what you are doing I got 817 and 818 shack in a box
