Welcome home! I have enjoyed following along on your World Cruise and look forward to your remaining vlogs. Thank you both so much for the time and effort you have put into this series!
Malta looks like a wonderful place! And yes, and hour and a half is WAY too long for lunch. I've noticed that on RC excursions that they do take too long for lunch.
I was born in Sicily, can’t wait to see where you will be and what you will be doing. Hopefully it will be one of those stops that you will like to come back to.
My husband is Maltese from Gozo and i love visiting the history and the beautiful blue sea. We were there in June and i always never want to go home. Hello from Australia loved following you on your trip.
Loved Valette. Just spent a long day (extended ship stay in port) in the old city. Visited St. John's Co-Cathedral, well worth a look. Watched the firing of the Saluting Battery guns. Have to agree with the your comments about ship sponsored excursions. Want to see more of the sights and less of gift shops/long lunch. Thanks again.
I really do enjoy your videos. They're, unequiovocally, splendid. Everything about them is just informative and of, without a doubt, fastination. Food in your videos looks sublime and scrumtious, in addition. Marvellous and just promise me you won't stop making videos once your home. I think your absolutely incredible advocates of these places. You've always got something lovely to say about the places but at the same time give your honest opinion about the cons. Keep up the fantasic work and I'll look forward to seeing you gallivanting around Southampton. As a quick question, will you be visiting the north of England? If so, I'd reccommend going to York. A quentesentially English place and just charming. There's a plethora of things to do. For now, I'm looking forward to watching your next video.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for following along with us on our journey. We got off i the ship for a week n the south of France and toured through the main continent as we had lived in Germany for four years about 25 years ago. We wanted to stop by our old house And see our old stomping ground. So we missed getting to England altogether. We rejoined the ship in northern Germany. You will see all of our adventures in the continent coming up shortly.
Lovely video. Disappointing you didn't get to spend more time at the sites you wanted. Nothing difficult about getting to Malta. Take a flight to any UK airport and you'll get flights to Malta no problem, with Ryanair, Easyjet, Tui, and Jet2.
If you haven't been to Pompeii, I hope that's one of your stops coming up! And we LOVED Cinque Terres and Portovenere in Le Spezia. The overviews you both give are very insightful and interesting!
Bummer about that tour being more of a cliff notes tour rather than a full book. And even though I'm a sit down type of person for lunch, 15 minutes is plenty for me. I would have been super anxious to get going rather than losing an hour of my day twiddling my thumbs.
I have said before cruises are for an overview. I 15:35 use a pre planned.Overview tours from cruise or independent and start outlining my independent return and decide 2nd cruise or must do land
Good stuff guys, Malta, pure history, you are correct a place worth TIME.

What a shame you couldn’t explore more. Malta and Sicily are on our list.
Nice thing is we can always go back

All of those are coming up. Hope you enjoy them!
So much world, so little time.
Isn't that the truth

Yes, we get that.
I’m with you. I wish they had given you more time to tour and less time for lunch.
I am going there in a couple weeks
You'll love it

Agreed.
What is the purple on the walls🎉🎉🎉
Not sure?
I was surprised at the lack of greenery or did you guys just not get into that area?
I noticed that also. Trees!
It is a very dry and arid island. All the places that we visited were more desert like
I’d say the 1 Euro for the elevator is the best Euro you spent
