This song was actually written by Roger Taylor as he was thinking about his life and his kids, but when Freddie took it over it came across with a totally different meaning. Brian has said he feels that Freddie used that closing "I still love you" as a goodbye to his fans.
Beautiful song. Especially as Freddie knew he’d die shortly after and was in so much pain. My Grandad and Godson are both Freddie’s.🥰. Your reviews are incredibly sensitive, thank you. You’re a very intelligent young man. Thank you from your good friends 🇬🇧to🇺🇸
I was 17 in 1991 ... actually most of us didn't even know he was sick until he publicly announced it 1 day before his death. Sure, he had been reclusive for a year or two and there had been some newspaper speculation but in those pre-internet days, you could just pass those off as nasty gossip (or not even be much of a newspaper reader). information came from only very few sources - there was no social media to fuel the rumours. I remember my radio alarm clock coming on and the news reporting his death that morning, it was so shocking to me that I thought I must have dreamed it. My mental image of Freddie Mercury at that time was still of the vibrant force of nature who had rocked the world at Live Aid in '85. It seemed inconceivable to me that he could have sickened and died at such an age. It was only a few weeks later at christmas, when they re-released Bohemian Rhapsody (with this song as the B side) that we could clearly see in this video how sick he'd become. And then the other clues, like him only appearing in cartoon form in the "Innuendo" video, suddenly made sense.
His very last song was around 6 months before he died which he never had the chance to finish. Brian sung the last verse. Called Mother Love... very sad. The musical interlude you know Freddie had died.
React to : White Queen live, the Show Must Go on, i Want it all, Dont stop me Now, somebody to Love... i can really Say this songs are great i think u Would like them too🥰
I really like your reactions, but most of them are towards the end of Freddie Mercury’s life instead of the beginning. Check out Killer Queen, Lap of the Gods, & White Queen. GREAT MUSIC!!
U can react to Britney Spears - Breath On Me or Touch Of My Hand audios. She's Lana's inspiration and these songs are amazing and kinda sound like Lana's music, you would like that I think.

Freddie had a vest made with his cats on it to be with him on his last performance. Love that Freddie loved his cats , shows he's sensitive.
Freddie was absolutely the greatest! How can you not cry?

Nice reaction. The " I still love you " was to Freddie's fans. And we still love him

Always emotional watching this video
I think Roger Taylor, the drummer made this about his kids , it just fit the situation and it’s was wonderful for Freddie
