The foundations and pillars of the house are made very well. It is enough to build several more floors. These houses have a lot of land, so they won't build it up, but build it wide around. They do not make flat roofs because of the problem of waterproofing. They will pour concrete, then tile more to protect against the very extreme weather in Vietnam, it has hot weather, it has a lot of rain, a lot of storms.

exactly my thoughts, and watching all the type of trees around, my guess is that part of the world invites alot of rain and mositure which makes me worry about the ground plates, there has to be mad amounts of shifting which causes earthquake type of movements, interestingly this part of the world is known for eartquakes, and the amount of destruction and life loss is insane. Im sorry but thats a HARD PASS for me, that has to be a few tons above your damn head, remember, in the US we use rafter ties to keep the "A" frame roof or best known as Gable roof from spreading open, I wonder what they did here to prevent that from happening? I know in Mexico they use concrete, rebar and ring "travez" which run horizontally across walls, but thats for flat roofs, I wonder what they used here

They have money to spend beside for heat insulation to prevent water leaking and use for fixing wooden batten where your brick tiles secured. Here in the Philippines they are using also concrete slab roof then red brick tiles. But in my case to lessen the cost I will use marine plywood 20 mm. thk. and self adhesive water proofing membrane then brick tiles.

Over time, it will pierce if the concrete does not vibrate, believe me, I myself work as concrete workers. This is not a job because when vibrating all the air will come out from the inside of the concrete so it's bad to pour the concrete !!!

Hihi, it will be roofed with tile above, it is made sure because the weather in Vietnam is very extreme, heavy rain, strong sun, heavy storms.

I saw them using a vibrator on the concrete. I could insert about a half dozen jokes here, but I will restrain myself.

Wannabe tough Merican dudes with tatts, trucks and bumper knots got nothing on this. Dudes wearing slip on loafers on the ridge while women with no fall protection rake concrete standing on rebar. Bizarro. A concrete roof has no future.
