My God!!!! I cannot remarry. My God... Obey all of God's word. It's not about being comfortable or uncomfortable. It's God's law. It's about heaven or hell. I choose heaven. This was only hard to hear because I never read it. Thank you God for your word!!! I will not perish because a lack of knowledge.
I’m in shock 🤦🏼♀️ and I grew up in a Pentecostal church and never heard this my whole life I’ve been in and out of marriages I’ve been so lose and I’m so grateful God had mercy on me and led me to Pastor Jennings before I made another mistake

@@eve2099 If you had read the scriptures you would see that for yourself. When I lived my life any old way I knew this when I did get married my husband was an abuser so we’re divorced. I’m single now and I’ll remain single.

God means what He said..i am still married but we r separated and i know i am not allowed to marry as long as my husband lives same goes for him. the only thing we can do is reunite back together. We got back together for 3 years but didnt work out. So now we live separately which i am content with peace of mine knowing i am in the will of God..

Annia Wright I cannot for the life of me understand why black women settle for work church and no husband no fun just a lonely unloved existence looking pastor in the face every Sunday giving him your hard earned money. Black women do you go out to get spa days redecorate your home, get a new hairstyle travel? Oh I forgot if you start looking attractive you may attract a real man who will love you and treat you nice. What example are you setting for your daughters? A life of obedience or a life of hidden desires to want more because you deserve it. You can't save for the future because you don't have One! God will not change his word because some of us want to have second and third marriages while spouse is still living. we all know what the the bible says about marriage. i suggest we take heed to God's word. Because we cannot COMPROMISE WITH THE LIVING GOD. We must obey His word and not turn from it to our own fleshy desires.

The problem is people rush into relationships, and find out the hard way, that the person wasn't right for them,& with secular(aka demonic) influences having a severe stronghold on their minds, they justify their immoral lifestyles. It's better to trust God and choose one's future spouse carefully with the Bible as their guide.

For who say their first marriage didn't count, read Hebrews 13:4 in which it says marriage is honorable among ALL ( Saved or unsaved)

In the Bible, there are verses that mean one thing, and there are also verses that convey more than one message. He is talking about the first part of the verse where it says “marriage is honorable in all” that means no marriage “doesn’t count” unless it’s a forbidden marriage like man with a man or woman with a woman. So both of you are right. He just quoted the first part because THAT was the point he was trying to make. The verse still means what he said.

That verse is referring to the law. We not under the law.
Callies we may be under the grace period but remember there’s not that much change. God still have the marriage and divorce law the same way. You can’t divorce your spouse and remarried. It is adulterous.

Rom 7vs1 Paul started out by saying that "Know ye not, brethren that I speak to them that know the LAW that the LAW have dominion over a man as long as he liveth. " giving a history of the LAW of Moses up to verse Rom 7vs.3 . In Rom 7 vs. 4-6 it explained that we are no longer under that law but are free to remarry.
I believe a true understanding of what Paul was saying can only be had if u read from Rom 7 VS 1-6 not just vs 2-3 bcas Paul compared vs. 1-3 which deal with the LAW to vs 4-6 which deal with the new, opposite & better covenant the church/Grace.
Plus most importantly is how "scripture" say a "marriage" take place.
The law & gospels teach that marriage is a blood covenant & a woman is joined when she loose her virginity. (church unlike scripture don't preach the importance of a woman virginity ). Marriage was never vow. Jesus said vow not.
Matt 19 vs 9, same as Deut 22 vs 13-19 which is the LAW. Absolutely clear that it refer to a woman losing her virginity/prior sex.
This scripture, Its intended meaning if accepted by the church would mean:
1. All women who have lost their virginity are to remain eunuchs or go find their first male partner.
2. All women who are not virgins who say "vows" to another man while the first man she had sex with is still alive is possibly having 2 husbands. We are certain of the 1 who took her virginity is her husband, I am not certain of the man she want to marry with a vow bcas marriage is a "BLOOD covenant" & Jesus "speak against" taking vows.
In Matt. 19 vs. 12 Jesus said this teaching is not giving to all & all men cannot received this saying. "He that is able to receive it let them receive it".
The church cannot truly receive this teaching but try to change the meaning of what Jesus was saying and then say they accept/receive it. "If it is to be accepted/receive it MUST be accepted as Jesus MEANT it " & not a twisted, revised meaning.

God is not to be played with. This man is not to be played with. Even on the other preaching pastor jennings gives, it hits home for me. no one can hide there sins and shame. we all fall short. but we have to wake up to realize anf understand Gods word and His gift. God bless all..

Repent & Follow Jesus Christ I hear you but however the scripture says the same thing in the KJV. The two words are interchangeable fornication is sexual immorality. And if God was referring to a betrothal why did he not just say the word in the scripture? Why do some believers waste heavenly resources on directing other believers to the Way of adultery instead of directing them to the Way of healing/restoration in marriages?
I was married and my wife divorced me and 5 years later she remarried another man ... I remained unmarried and after finding about the laws of the bible I am so glad I didn't remarry another...thank you Gino for telling the truth in this matter, even my pastor at the church I was going to has a second wife and his ex wife is still alive... I had to leave that church although they are good friends they told me it was ok to have a second wife and that GOD allowed it

I have been listening to Pastor Jennings for almost a month. even though he teaches from the good book he is rightly able to do so unlike other preachers. I'm not a religious person but I believe that God is a forgiving God and He has compassion and He forgives those who do not know the word on which Pastor Jennings is teaching. My comment is this, why doesn't he show compassion in his teachings to those who have sinned and didn't know about divorce and remarrying?

I’ve discovered that almost every time a preacher is as dogmatic as Gino is, usually they fall harder than those they preach against. The Bible says for the letter killeth but the Spirit giveth life. I remember when Jesus met a woman at a well in John 4. He told her to go call her husband and return. She replied that she didn’t have a husband and Jesus said you are correct that you have no husband. You have had five husbands (or five marriages) and the man you’re with now is not your husband. Now, wouldn’t Jesus have been more correct in saying you’ve had 1 husband and 4 adulterers??? No, the fact is Jesus recognized all five of her previous marriages and then he acknowledged that she was living with a man who she wasn’t married to. According to Gino, Jesus missed a golden opportunity to call her a whore, an adulterer, a skank or otherwise because that’s what Gino would do. But Gino isn’t God and much of his preaching is condemnation and judging. The letter killeth but the fruit of the Spirit is love. My advice to Pastor Gino… walk in love.

It’s obvious to me that so many people are are going off of pure emotions. Our lives are at stake here, either you will obey God Word or not, please stop making excuses the Bible is very clear!!!! I am currently in this marriage, divorce and remarriage situation right now. I had no idea that remarriage was considered adultery. I have prayed for discernment, and direction on this matter. What I do know is I WILL OBEY GOD at all cost!!! I was devastated at first, but then I realized either I was going to obey God or man!! I choose God!!! I was baptized 6 years ago, and have been making major changes in my life. I thank my Heavenly Father Elohim for opening my eyes to this truth. Now we have to do whatever it is to make this right in His eyes. We all have a freedom of choice, you are not force to listen to Gino Jennings or anyone else for that matter, but we all have to make a choice to obey God or satan no in between! Time is short and who, knows tomorrow is not a guarantee. It’s your choice, do your own research, read the Bible, and more importantly go to God in prayer. If you are a true follower of our Lord Jesus Christ, then you already know what is true. Listen, I’m a divorce man. I will NEVER get remarried. I rather stay single till my dying days. Marriage in this day and age is trap for men. I love my single life. 🙌🏾

This has really helped me. I was married by a female pastor and even went to my pastor about this issue and was told that I was forgiven for getting remarried. This is some good preaching that you just dont hear in churches now a days. The scriptures make it very clear that you can't do it. As for the book of Ecclesiasticus, I went to the churches website and found that the book was found in the KJV Apocrypha. It was spot on!!! Thank you so much for opening my eyes amd I am now taking the nment proper steps to get right. I got caught up in a Isa 3:12 situation in that I was remarried by a female pastor and didn't know any better. Now I have to go back and fix some stuff.
Me and my cousin argues all the time and she always brings up Moses and I keep telling her that Moses is no one compared to Jesus but when someone really wants another husband or wife you they don’t care what the Bible says.
La Original Mose could not write that law on has own so it had to come from God or it would not be in the Bible. We cannot pick and choose our favorite scripture to use just to make ourselves right.
