For some reason this video really made me miss my granfather...... He was the glue that was holding our family together. When I get my plane I want to name it Mike's Magesty after him. He worked for Duamond Match and other companies in the Idaho state and national forests forever. So all of this is close to my heart. Be well....
Awesome video Steve! Love the back country flying in Idaho...so used to seeing you at STOL contests. Whats rally interesting is how I recognize so many of the spots you landed from watching Greg Millers Fly Idaho DVD. Cool!
Your video production skills are right up there with your flying skills. This was a Very enjoyable watch. Can't wait to show my wife who will love the sense of family, community and life in the moment.
Hi Steve, Another great video, Thank you for sharing. I miss going to fly ins. It makes for a great vacation. The area is beautiful. It says a lot for your motor choice given the mountain flying. It seems like a very reliable motor with a kick. Take care, Be safe.
Yep 🔝👍🏼‼️ like others here in the comment section said before: great upload & I really enjoyed watching it!. The kind of making this video (good music, work of cutting, etc. …) is very well made! Respect & greetings from a aviation Fan 😊.
A pleasure to see you and the Highlander back flying in its natural environment where you first began. I still occasionally watch the Dead stick landing CD I purchased from you in Arlington. Can't wait to get my Highlander out to Johnson Creek, Wilson Bar, Cabin Creek, and Mile High! How about a deer hunting vid this fall with the Highlander?
Excellent video, did you edit or did Sara help out? It was good music selection, volume was perfect and so on. First class as always Steve, thanks for sharing! Always a fan!
Thank you! This is Sara, I’ve been doing all the editing for the past few videos. It’s definitely teamwork putting these videos together. We appreciate the feedback and thank you for your nice comments!!
@@SteveHenry Thank you for all your efforts Sara, we (the fans) might not get to see any of the crazy strides Steve is making in this ever expanding sport. He might not be so inclined to pick up a camera during his mad scientist escapades if someone wasn’t able to help him with it . So now we need to figure out how to clone you and send Sara #2 over to help Hal Stockman in his laboratory!😉 seriously, your doing a great job and we look forward to the next one!
Great video. I may not ever be able to do it your way but I will mine. Just got a new Xbox series X and will get a video card for VR whenever they finally become available again. The newish MS Flight Simulator 2020 is an amazing piece of work. It's cloud delivered scenery data would fill 1.6 million CD's. And realistic bush flying becomes real for the first time ever. It is multi-player for "Fly-In's" too. The whole world in 3D with 2 Trillion trees. 1.5 Billion buildings, 1.5 million lakes, 12,000 sq. miles of 3D bladed grass & weeds, and much more. The Xbox version in full 4K releases July 27 where the PC version exists now, and with VR. The Xbox will be connected up to my 4K projector which throws out a 12 foot wide picture in my home theater. Bush flying is one of the first things I am going to do. You should see the Ultra-Lite they just released for this thing. It's whole purpose is to fully enjoy the spectacular scenery in VR.

I like your video a lot. Can you help me with the name of the musicians and the songs? Thank you!
I talked to ya on the phone.....that little yamahammer pounds eh ?
What's the music? Is under copyright ?
This is Sara, I do all the editing. It’s royalty free music. That’s the hardest part for me! Finding good music is tough.
Nice!
Steve I saw you doing a yamaha engine in experimental aircraft channel can you do a Honda car engine conversion for aircrafts
Viking is doing aircraft conversions with Honda car engines.
Wow
Any issues with the Apex to report ?
My dream after retirement is land, a super STOL and a happy wife.
That’s a great dream
