I remember doing this method in middle school when I used to be bored and scribble random things in my notebook which I eventually drew into many different things never actually knew it was a method until now
WOW!! That is a very interesting technique!! Never seen it before, I will definitely try it out to see where it takes me. It may be the perfect way for me to break the mental block I'm hitting whenever I want to get back to "sketch for an hour a day." Thanks Spencer!! I would love to see another bag sketch but also how you would turn that into a technical drawing from there on illustrator it'd be really educational for me !

Would also love to practice things like men's and women's trousers. I'm an industrial designer and usually nuse the scribble method but I want to get good at the clean like sketching and descriptive sketching of apparel ☺️

I am! These are a part of a series I produced a while back.
I really need a tutorial on sketching hands holding products and tips and tricks of making realistic "design hands"...I'm shocked there is absolutely NOTHING on youtube about that for designers.
Simple answer is I take a picture and use that.
