I remember the A Team fan club. I got an invite from Dirk Benedict after I wrote to the Face Man as asked him for his autograph. He sent me a promo photo of him a long with an invite to the fanclub. LOL
I grew up in the 90s, and while I wasn't a member, I still remember seeing all the ads for the Power Rangers fanclub. Which I wish I'd been a member of.
@@RetroDaze The biggest thing was exclusive VHS tapes. Not episodes, but interviews and stuff. A membership card, of course, and stuff like magnets, stickers, cards, a lunch bag. A couple years ago Culturefly did a new version (a single box) that reproduced the membership card and lunch bag and included more adult-aimed stuff like a pint glass and bottle opener.
I wasn't a member of any fan clubs in your video, there are I guessing dozens more you missed, Here are a few you missed that I did join, Vampirella Fan Club, Gumby and Pokey, G.I. Joe, Freddy Fan club from Nightmare on Elm Street, ALF Fan club.
I was first a member of the. Nintendo Fun Club, which transitioned into a Nintendo Power Subscription. I still have most of my Nintendo Power Strategy Guides, and the Official Nintendo Power Player’s Guides from the early to mid-90s.
G.L.O.W. fanclub '85-'89! Was too young to be one! 😡🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🌃🌃🌃🌃🌃🌉🌉🌉🌉🌉💯💯💯💯💯🤬
G.L.O.W. - What a perfect brand to have a fan club. I'm guessing other sports entertainment franchises (American Gladiators) had fan clubs too.
@@RetroDaze hella yeaa, RetroDave! Was fan of A.G. & Rock n Rolla Games too! 🤟🤟🤟🤟🗽🗽🗽🗽🏙️🏙️🏙️🏙️🌉🌉🌉😣🛼😼

That’s awesome! Probably not too many people joined as a direct result of being encouraged to by one of the stars! 😆
I've been collecting the old Nintendo Power magazines since 2010.
How many are in your collection?
Over 200, I guess.
@@andrewlitherland1463 Wow! Very nice!
Doc Louis told me to join the Nintendo Fun Club. I mean, when your video games are telling to do that, you just gotta!
Doc knows his stuff. Best to do what he says or he might send Little Mac to “persuade” you.

Curious to know what you got with your membership to that.

@@theotakux5959 VHS tapes!? That’s awesome!
If there was a RetroDaze fan club, I would have joined it...
Awesome! Thank you for saying so. Time to go print some membership cards. 😆

We came across several others, including the Alf Fan Club you mentioned!

Don’t suppose you still have that first issue of NP? It’s worth some cash in good condition!
Wish I could go back and get stuck in the 80s
That would be awesome.
I would stay there forever. I hope heaven is the 80s all over again forever and ever. That would be awesome
i was a member of the burger king kids club
