Welcome to "You and Craft". In this video we will be trying to create something antique out of waste glass bottle which can enhance the look of any corner and space of your home.
The cool and curvy glass bottles itself are very attractive are very attractive and alluring and if we could just add some colourful and sparkling touch, it can do wonders as an artifact.
This DIY tutorial is very easy and simple to follow, perfect for beginners , explained step by step and achievable at home ! Hope you will love this craft and will try to make it.

Hi, what specific type of clay and glue do you use to glue your ornaments on with because I bought an air dry clay and it doesn’t seem to be working the same and the school glue I’m using doesn’t seem to hold the stuff on either
You can use epoxy clay and PVA glue which is best for bottle art.

Glitter is totally different from silver dust. You can also use silver acrylic paint instead of silver dust. It will give you same effect.

hi, what u use for the silver dust to stick to the clay? I used silver and gold acrylic paint to get those result, the dust won't stick.
I usually take a wet brush and dip it into some mica powder, or you can use old eyeshadows.. the eyeshadows are alot cheaper with the same results...just find some gold, silver, metallic black, copper, bronze, pearl white...those are pretty much the basic starter colors to make ur work look antiqued❤...I typed all that just to end up saying: I dip my brush or finger in some water, then powder and onto the art🙄🤣😂

I'm having the hardest time getting my clay to work like that...I either get it too wet, or it becomes too dry and start to crumble when I try to palm roll it😭
You can use epoxy clay for this project which is not too wet and too dry and can be handle easily. It may be little sticky but it is manageable , and to avoid the stickiness you can use talcum powder.
