@@Acetilcystein Hull down is basically playing on a ridge/hill with a tank that has good gun depression, a strong/unpennable turret and a bouncy upper plate. It means that you can peak to your hearts content against other players and they cannot do anything against you if they don't somehow flank or have an arty in the team.
I miss the old days where 1. Tech tree tanks vs Tech tree tanks 2. Old HE mechanic where you can do damage with just a splash on the ground 3. No broken OP Premium tanks ruin the game 4. Derp KV-13, T-43, T20, Panther, M46 Patton, because the funny Nowadays is all Premium tanks flooded the match maker making the F2P grind worth meaningless ....
Being able to overmatch your enemy's armor with HE is what made tanks like the KV-2 and the japanese superheavies fun. Obliterating someone for 700 when they least expected it was always fun and it didn't always happen but enough to make them viable to do lots of damage atleast.

The Iron Arnie is much less talked about because of the new features and abilities the BZ-176 has, but it is by no mean an inferior tank. Putting a tier 9 medium tank at tier 8 with add on armor in exchange for mobility and some offense stats, really just spills trouble. It never should have been in tier 8 in the first place since it already has the Super Pershing at it’s tier.
Yeah, it doesn't even feel bad to play when you get T10 games. Hell, I'm happy to see a tier 10 heavy bouncing or sizzling heat off the spaced armor to rack up steel walls lol.
@@KawaiiFemBoi Dispersion while moving is really good though. And you can get the accuracy pretty good with an aiming device, and the armor lets you spend the long time to aim. The insane HEAT pen pushes it over the top compared to the Patriot imo.
It has great armor but it also has weakspots it can't hide most of the time. It's definitely a tier too low but the tank doesn't feel cancerous for the game.
It's just trash like I worked hard for my heavy tanks with double barrels and super armor yet these premium garbage are literally in every match and BZ 176 is like an ISU 152 with IS-4 armor
M47 Improved (aka. Iron Arnie) is supposed to be using the same M68 105mm gun as the M48A5 - which is again supposed to be the same gun as on the Leo1 and Cent 7 among others. I honestly and unironically believe the Iron Arnie should have been a tier 10, just with an un-nerfed M68 gun. Same is true for the AMBT (supposed to be a replacement for the M60). It's a pretty sad trend from WG. Tanks that easily could have been fairly balanced at tier 10 are thrown into the game at tier 8 just with a nerfed gun and poor soft stats. Would it actually be better if they started selling tier 10 premiums though?
I uninstalled about two months ago. Almost re-downloaded for the Christmas event but my will power thankfully stood up like a Chieftain turret. I still watch kajzoo vids just to keep up on the WG insanity.

I did something similar. I think I quit about two years ago, almost turned back a couple times, but this game is going down the drain. That is an MBT that they are matching against t-34-85s. An MBT that has mountable COMPOSITE ARMOR. The kind of pen you'd need to get through that could only be found in the largest of HEAT shells, or HEAT-FS or APDS. They put a post-60s MBT fighting WW2 tanks. There's no way to balance that.
How can you play this awful amateur bullshit game anyway, war thunder is much much better and lot more realistic too, well I guess It's not hard to be more realistic than wot. It's ridicolous to me this is not how tanks act irl.
Ironically, it was arty hitting hard what made the games last longer, because pretty much every player was scared of being spotted and get hammered by 600-800 damage. Now that arty is useless that fear is gone, along with bond Turbo and omega broken tier 8 premium tanks.
They need to stop the aggressive plays with map changes and they doing the opposite . Then nerf tanks that need it . Ill take nerfs to my premiums for the sake of the game but i know without a Miracle it wont happen .
Not to mention their match making makes every game a steam roll for one side. Generally mine getting rolled over. But I did have a game the other day where my team went 15-0 with only 3k HP lost on our team. So yeah. That's a regular occurrence. They need to fix that before they fix anything else.

I'm a very average player - my games IMMEDIATELY started getting better when I got the Iron Arnie. It's insane how much your damage per game spikes when you play it vs. what I've spent a lot of time playing (tier 8 tech tree French heavies). I'm hopeful they buff more tech tree tanks next year like they seem to be planning on it. I don't actually mind having really powerful tanks in the game, what I mind is that they show up against things like the AMX65t or stock ISMs that basically just don't get to play the game.

Is the game more fun if it's lower power, but that lower power means losing half your games to RNG dispersion rather than bad plays or good plays by your enemy? Power creep is only inherently bad if it's things like a card game, where you MUST buy the new product or be left in the dust. WOT being a video game can update those old tanks to catch players up without harming the game. I'm not suggesting they buff tanks by just doing something lazy like making armor and pen values go up or removing weak spots (though they might well do that).

Tanks like the BZ176 that can just get to ridgeline hulldown peeking positions years before any other heavies can isn't necessarily a problem of the rocket mechanic being busted, but is a problem of maps only having one or two viable spots for heavies to go. If there were multiple viable spots for heavies to go, and the BZ player chooses to get to the wrong one, but fast, now they've spent a limited resource to do next to nothing.
As people who do this in 6 years: - never load gold ammo - never have prem vehicle (except bonds tank) - never spend premium account (usually wg give it lol) I'll prefer suffer rather than spend thing on this game. Iron arnie basically slaps anything super pershing have back then. And it makes big suffer for people who played tier 7 and below. I'm agree with the last part with you Lots t8 stock now just suffer pain to play because more and more premium tank on the tree. They should buff them

They have made it policy to never nerf a premium tank so that is the ONLY alternative to more power creep. Power creep resulted in the HE changes, gold spam and 1000+ hp tier 6 heavy tanks. It HAS GOT TO stop!
I have noticed a massive problem in wargaming's monetization. They promised us to never release tier 9 or 10 premiums, and that looks nice if you dont think about it. But if you do, you will realize that they will just release premiums with the power of tier 9 and 10 tanks into tier 8 since they are not allowed to put them in the tier they would fit in. This results in tier 10 tanks getting put into tier 8, and they have a chance to fight tier 6. So they just keep adding better premiums but they keep having to put it into tier 8, so we end up with tanks like the Bz-176 and iron arnie. So tier 6 tanks basically have -2/+4 matchmaking.
Arnie and BZ are basically tier 10 tanks with tier 8 matchmaking. But whats even worse, they are both only playable with GOLD shells, because these days you arent even allowed to earn credits with your gold tank. You are meant to spend it all on the ammunition and buy credits for gold. Although everything could have been OK if Arnie had 235 standard pen and 260 gold pen, and BZ with AP 220mm pen and the same or even LESS pen with the HESH.
Great vid with a lot of crazy gameplay Kajzoo. I think that WG missed a golden opportunity to make this thing a tier 9 premium, all the would need is to give it corresponding HP and and a 360 alpha gun. While this thing is strong, I don't think that it is nearly as imbalanced as the BZ, which if you get bored while streaming, I can see you making a crazy compilation vid of it like you did with the Cobra.
I didn't play the game for about a year, and came back to the bz-176 and iron Arnie, wondering how they every thought they would be good additions. So many of the games I've been in could easily be won by people playing a bit more aggressively, but everyone just wants to sit on a ridge or behind a hill until god gives them a perfect opportunity, or until they see someone on somewhat low health to yolo push

WG sure had the greatest idea of all times introducing this monstrosity in the game, however, it's overshadowed by the other monstrosity, the BZ-176, but arguably this thing completely makes those who own the Superpershing look like idiots and let's better not compare it with the Pershing, which is the tech tree version. It's the M47, in case someone doesn't know, basically the tier 9 with a little bit less speed and alpha but with the turret of the Super Conqueror. Don't worry though, WG gave it a little cupola easy to hit especially if the driver is moving left and right and backwards and forwards 🤷♂️🤣
At this point I think WG can introduce the T-55AM1 or AM2 (tanks made to counter 1970s and 1980s projectiles) as a tier 10 CW tank and it still won't be OP.
WG: Yes, we totally did just add a tank with composite armor to the game. In reality, the armor on this is based on an armor package for the M48 Super, a German design to upgrade the M48. It also had a thermal sight. This isn't the only tank in the game with composite armor on it tho, the premium tier 8 and tech tree tier 9 and 10 have something clearly based on the Russian BDD applique composite armor found on modernized T-55s and T-62s. I find it funny how WG handles APDS and APFSDS in game too. They are usually under the APCR ammo type in game which makes sense since APCR is a sub-caliber penetrator too. But WG seemingly realized that they can simply use AP for these rounds too and just buff the velocity which ultimately gives them better normalization on top of the benefits they'd usually have as APCR. Man i thought I was trippin when you were driving next to the bisonte C45, that shit looks even more like an Abrams from behind.
Also got a iron arnie, and i really recomend bounty Improved Aiming System instead of v stabs, its night and day. if you check tanksgg the tanks has really good dispersion values, no need for v stabs. Biggest problem is accuracy IAS solved this.
i am a war thunder player and probably will remain so but there is definatly something to be said about the 1 death system, truly makes the games much more tense
I knew it was broken as soon as I saw the armor. This tank is literally better than the Patriot and the Liberte combined. And those were the broken tanks a few years ago.
Honestly, it's very hard for me to make this tank work. The coupola, ring under turret, slow speed, difficult gun. I feel the armor is not reliable. It's one of the situations when everyone loves given tank and you just cannot, despite you know it's OP.

Since this vehicle exists, there is no point in getting the Super Pershing. Strange how instead of trying to reduce the power creep, WG are turning it to "11" with vehicles like the BZ and the Iron Arnie. If you are in something like Panther 2 or TVP, basically all you can do is cry in the corner of the map and hope to hit a shot or two. Not what I would call fun
I'd say American and French tanks are the only ones that aren't suffering from this insane OP issue. They're riddled with weak spots to the point that it makes them unbearable to use against other tanks. The AMX M4 54 is fun to use, but if you don't have a position to use your only decent armor, you can get massacred with ease. you don't have the pen to try and muscle through any tough tanks either. The only reason I don't truly go full AMX is because while it is really well balanced, it's opponents are not.
I stopped playing wot 3 months ago now I'm in war thunder and I love it. no rng no arti ok there are planes that want to mess up your day but that's why you hafe the gunner. there is also arcade with a penetration chance indicator, but what makes war thunder so special are the realistic battles.
Consider this has the same armor set up at tier X on console and it works fine. PC seems to be trying to really shove as much post war stuff at tier 8. Like how many 60-70's tanks am I'm going to fight?
Wargaming in 2021 we dont want mediums playing as lights like the batchat . Next year they add CVS for mediums and turbo so they can go faster to spot and then see through bushes . Then add field mods buffing view range and speed .Maybe remove the ability for all mediums to use CVS let it buff the lights that need buffs .
I have watched some WoT vids out of curiosity, but I still have not the slightest idea what is happening, aside the fact cupolas are like headshots and armor is a stat thing.

Iron arnie is kinda op, but only in comparison to older tanks like the super pershing. It does alright when uptiered but has low hp and isnt immune from the front. The bz is way worse from a design perspective along with that one medium with god tier armor. Why focus on the iron?
I don't know if you do cardio at all or hit the gym from time to time, but I'm pretty sure that the match in the first video was worth a week's running on the treadmill
This tank is broken but I hate the BZ more. I have both and played them enough to see how broken they were. Now I don't play them just like the borat - stupid easy to dominate.
I get this tank has strong armour. But in my opinion it does have 2 frontal weak spots, low rate of fire, on the low side for HP and the gun is not the best. Granted it is much better than the super pershing but does see tier 10s also. Great games as usual Kaj, last game was epic.
After this Christmas event I've come to the conclusion to uninstall the game and not come back. IDK might just have been me, but the event this years gives you less while asking for more money. Could be wrong but the price up the boxes have gone up. If you play in tier 8 or higher you need 50% gold ammo. The weakspots get smaller and require HEAT. So if you don't have HEAT you are fucked. I can't do it anymore.
Despite all the effort WG seems to be putting in improving MM, nerfing kran and m4 54 and balancing maps to make the game better, actually what WG have done is make the game worse be putting OP tanks in it. Those tanks have such a big impact in the meta that they single handedly can break the game. Started since EBRs and bourrasque, CS 52 lis, prog 64. But now even those tanks are not that strong compared to tanks like BZ, Cobra, M4 54, VZ 55, Skoda T56 lol. Like how stupid is that. previous OP tanks not being strong compared to whatever new sh*t WG puts in the game. xD
I actually don’t have that much of a problem with the IA. It has a weak spot and bad side armor. As long as a tank has a weak spot and isn’t like an IS7 turret I’m fine

I have noticed a massive problem in wargaming's monetization. They promised us to never release tier 9 or 10 premiums, and that looks nice if you dont think about it. But if you do, you will realize that they will just release premiums with the power of tier 9 and 10 tanks into tier 8 since they are not allowed to put them in the tier they would fit in. This results in tier 10 tanks getting put into tier 8, and they have a chance to fight tier 6. So they just keep adding better premiums but they keep having to put it into tier 8, so we end up with tanks like the Bz-176 and iron arnie. So tier 6 tanks basically have -2/+4 matchmaking.

This tank has *better* stabilization values than the S Conq, it definitely doesn't need Vstabs imo. Vents/rammer/aiming device.
Arnie and BZ are basically tier 10 tanks with tier 8 matchmaking. But whats even worse, they are both only playable with GOLD shells, because these days you arent even allowed to earn credits with your gold tank. You are meant to spend it all on the ammunition and buy credits for gold. Although everything could have been OK if Arnie had 235 standard pen and 260 gold pen, and BZ with AP 220mm pen and the same or even LESS pen with the HESH.
I got my dmg blocked record of like 9k in the iron Arnie, 1k more than my Maus...
Tier 10 is only gold spam but with iron arnie you can face even tier 6 that cant pen you
Great vid with a lot of crazy gameplay Kajzoo. I think that WG missed a golden opportunity to make this thing a tier 9 premium, all the would need is to give it corresponding HP and and a 360 alpha gun. While this thing is strong, I don't think that it is nearly as imbalanced as the BZ, which if you get bored while streaming, I can see you making a crazy compilation vid of it like you did with the Cobra.
I didn't play the game for about a year, and came back to the bz-176 and iron Arnie, wondering how they every thought they would be good additions. So many of the games I've been in could easily be won by people playing a bit more aggressively, but everyone just wants to sit on a ridge or behind a hill until god gives them a perfect opportunity, or until they see someone on somewhat low health to yolo push
My main problem with tanks like the WZ and Iron Arnie are what are low tiers suppose to do? They get just go f themselves...
This is why i mostly play tier 6 now. Tier 8-10 just needs specific tanks to enjoy. Or you need full gold to have a CHANCE to pen. .

WG sure had the greatest idea of all times introducing this monstrosity in the game, however, it's overshadowed by the other monstrosity, the BZ-176, but arguably this thing completely makes those who own the Superpershing look like idiots and let's better not compare it with the Pershing, which is the tech tree version. It's the M47, in case someone doesn't know, basically the tier 9 with a little bit less speed and alpha but with the turret of the Super Conqueror. Don't worry though, WG gave it a little cupola easy to hit especially if the driver is moving left and right and backwards and forwards 🤷♂️🤣
In a month or two, as loot boxes season is over, is when we will really know how this tanks perform...

At this point I think WG can introduce the T-55AM1 or AM2 (tanks made to counter 1970s and 1980s projectiles) as a tier 10 CW tank and it still won't be OP.
WG: Yes, we totally did just add a tank with composite armor to the game.
In reality, the armor on this is based on an armor package for the M48 Super, a German design to upgrade the M48. It also had a thermal sight. This isn't the only tank in the game with composite armor on it tho, the premium tier 8 and tech tree tier 9 and 10 have something clearly based on the Russian BDD applique composite armor found on modernized T-55s and T-62s.
I find it funny how WG handles APDS and APFSDS in game too. They are usually under the APCR ammo type in game which makes sense since APCR is a sub-caliber penetrator too. But WG seemingly realized that they can simply use AP for these rounds too and just buff the velocity which ultimately gives them better normalization on top of the benefits they'd usually have as APCR.

Also got a iron arnie, and i really recomend bounty Improved Aiming System instead of v stabs, its night and day. if you check tanksgg the tanks has really good dispersion values, no need for v stabs. Biggest problem is accuracy IAS solved this.

These heart-pounding battles were commonplace years ago, then WG introduced this stupid MM that was totally unbalanced most of the time.

Honestly, it's very hard for me to make this tank work. The coupola, ring under turret, slow speed, difficult gun. I feel the armor is not reliable. It's one of the situations when everyone loves given tank and you just cannot, despite you know it's OP.

Since this vehicle exists, there is no point in getting the Super Pershing. Strange how instead of trying to reduce the power creep, WG are turning it to "11" with vehicles like the BZ and the Iron Arnie. If you are in something like Panther 2 or TVP, basically all you can do is cry in the corner of the map and hope to hit a shot or two. Not what I would call fun
I'd say American and French tanks are the only ones that aren't suffering from this insane OP issue. They're riddled with weak spots to the point that it makes them unbearable to use against other tanks. The AMX M4 54 is fun to use, but if you don't have a position to use your only decent armor, you can get massacred with ease. you don't have the pen to try and muscle through any tough tanks either. The only reason I don't truly go full AMX is because while it is really well balanced, it's opponents are not.

I stopped playing wot 3 months ago now I'm in war thunder and I love it. no rng no arti ok there are planes that want to mess up your day but that's why you hafe the gunner. there is also arcade with a penetration chance indicator, but what makes war thunder so special are the realistic battles.
Consider this has the same armor set up at tier X on console and it works fine.
PC seems to be trying to really shove as much post war stuff at tier 8. Like how many 60-70's tanks am I'm going to fight?
Wargaming in 2021 we dont want mediums playing as lights like the batchat . Next year they add CVS for mediums and turbo so they can go faster to spot and then see through bushes . Then add field mods buffing view range and speed .Maybe remove the ability for all mediums to use CVS let it buff the lights that need buffs .

Iron arnie is kinda op, but only in comparison to older tanks like the super pershing. It does alright when uptiered but has low hp and isnt immune from the front. The bz is way worse from a design perspective along with that one medium with god tier armor. Why focus on the iron?

We see do many tier IX and X tanks praying on tier VIII, I don't see the issues now that a tier VIII can stand up to them and win.
This tank is broken but I hate the BZ more. I have both and played them enough to see how broken they were. Now I don't play them just like the borat - stupid easy to dominate.
I get this tank has strong armour. But in my opinion it does have 2 frontal weak spots, low rate of fire, on the low side for HP and the gun is not the best. Granted it is much better than the super pershing but does see tier 10s also. Great games as usual Kaj, last game was epic.

After this Christmas event I've come to the conclusion to uninstall the game and not come back. IDK might just have been me, but the event this years gives you less while asking for more money. Could be wrong but the price up the boxes have gone up. If you play in tier 8 or higher you need 50% gold ammo. The weakspots get smaller and require HEAT. So if you don't have HEAT you are fucked. I can't do it anymore.

Despite all the effort WG seems to be putting in improving MM, nerfing kran and m4 54 and balancing maps to make the game better, actually what WG have done is make the game worse be putting OP tanks in it. Those tanks have such a big impact in the meta that they single handedly can break the game. Started since EBRs and bourrasque, CS 52 lis, prog 64. But now even those tanks are not that strong compared to tanks like BZ, Cobra, M4 54, VZ 55, Skoda T56 lol. Like how stupid is that. previous OP tanks not being strong compared to whatever new sh*t WG puts in the game. xD
I have no idea how something like AMD CDC which was released back in 2015 has to compete among these op beasts.
I actually don’t have that much of a problem with the IA. It has a weak spot and bad side armor. As long as a tank has a weak spot and isn’t like an IS7 turret I’m fine
