The zoom in on the text was to highlight specific things they wanted us to notice. Like the union room, the contests, the underground, and secret bases. Time and space was a reference to dialga and palkia. Atleast that's what i saw when i watched it.
I was honestly really happy with this Presentation. BDSP looks more solid overall, and Legends Arceus really piqued my interest with the regional forms and evolutions.
Who's your favorite regional variant/evolution from the trailer?
As a kid, I always dreamed of riding a deer. I always saw deers as majestic and graceful. Seeing how you can ride Wyrdeer, I gotta say that that’s my favorite. Seeing the main character ride Wyrdeer sort of full-filled my childhood dream.
@@isaplayz1449 that's honestly sweet😄. I see deer similarly, and seeing how we can ride Wyrdeer here is... thrilling and beautiful - I believe that's how I want to describe it😂. Honestly my favorite evolution showcased today. My favorite regional form is Growlithe because he's cute and can either have a new evolution or give Arcanine a cool new form.
@@jaimem1758 Yeah. And also seeing how the deer don’t run away from you, unlike in breath of the wild, it feels like I have a special bond with them. It’s honestly breathtaking.
Seeing Growlithe getting a new form is making me smile for my old boy Arcanine.
They’re zooming in on text from in the game that mentions something that they then show. It’s very easy to see the words they were trying to highlight. The BDSP trailer editing is honestly fantastic.
Yeah when everything cut out and all the Team Galactic stuff came up I got chills.

Considering this is Game Freak and a huge open world game on Switch, I'm pretty happy with how it looks to be honest... They definitely aren't as talented as the Zelda team, but this is more ambitious and more impressive than anything else they've ever done, so I gotta say I'm impressed with what they've shown at this point.

I mean the idea is that they want you to read one word that their zooming in on, but the way they edited it, just doesn’t work in the slightest

I actually like the updated, softer art style of BDSP. It’s closer to the Link’s Awakening remake which a lot of people compared it to when it was revealed.

I stayed up all night (came home from work at 11pm), and I still had the energy to read all those captions🤣. I think the games are AMAZING. Can't wait to see the abilities of the new Pokémon and new forms, along with their moves and use in battles. I'm going to use the pokeball stickers like crazy!

^the only person to be confused by the zooming and focus on phrases and words and actually complains about it. It’s not that weird, and they don’t need to pause for fifteen seconds for you to sit up in your chair, adjust your glasses and take your time to read like it’s a book
The editing is efficient and I haven’t heard a single other person complain about it other than you and your obsessive chat who will agree with anything you say 😂

I agree with a lot of your complaints but the text was easily readable, weird to focus on that lol. The only time part of it wasn't was when they only wanted you to focus on one word like Time or Adventure or Underground
They just made it too bright, that's all lol. Also, it's possible they captured the footage differently or something which made some glare occur or something?? Gameplay does look dope though. The fact you can take like for real is really dope.
Along side out epic clash in Mario Party Superstars, the next following month we will have a battle in the union room and after that's over we'll do ourselves some mining(if it's online that is)
If you wonder why it looks like that is because of how RUclips compressed the hell out of their videos. You'll never see this on switch.

Yes the remakes look "softer" now.
But this is just a million times better than what that first trailer was.
It looked so rough when it was first revealed, and now it´s the way I hoped it would look.
The strong colors didn´t fit the game at all.
I like how Pokémon Legends: Arceus is trying to imitate the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s art style. I think the art director of Pokémon Legends is the same art director for Breath of the Wild

I was way too tired to notice the zoom in text edits this morning, but upon repeat viewing, yea it's bad lol! The way they cropped the text too and how bits and pieces can be read, it was like when people misread the "Don't Dead, Open Inside" door in the Walking Dead pilot episode lol

I just don’t get the textures. They’re the largest franchise in the world, they can do so much better. But part of me feels like they know they don’t have to? And that people will buy it anyway?
Social media is just full of excuses. That their team is smaller… then hire people, you have money. The game is running on weaker hardware… so did Xenoblade and Monster Hunter. People just want to hate on Pokémon… no, we just know it’s capable of so so much more!
They’ve listened about BD and SP at least, which is something (and yes the trailer was edited awfully!). Here’s hoping they listen about Arceus. Just, upgrade the textures! That’s it! Give us textures that aren’t pulled from a zip file held on a Wii disc! That would sharpen it up so much already! If indie devs can make games look crisp on Switch? So can the largest franchise in the entire world…

Not sure if it was mentioned before or not, but the Art-Style of Pokemon Legends Arceus seems to be based on Japanese Paintings and Artworks, which is why it looks odd and washed-out.

Anyone else think that the Legends art style and rendering looks really close to BotW's? I'm confused at why people are saying this one looks so bad when it looks so similar to BotW and I haven't heard anyone hating on that.

I've seen plenty of other people react to the presentation, and only a few if those including you have said the way they chose to zoom things was weird. Just my thoughts.
I agree that they should have cell shaded Arceus to look like the pokemon episodes, At ther moment the graphics look on par with Final Fantasy 11 on PS2 lol

@@JesssAdel Yea maybe i was a bit harsh on the graphics lol, However i do hope they fix the pop in at 5 feet problem of Sword and Sheild and possibly give the wild Pokemon some good AI, Like if they were programed with realistic tasks throughout the days and nights so you could abserve them. But i feel from that trailer there just going to be static and wander back and forward for all eternity, I mean its going to kill the emersion if the animals in GTA 5 had smarter animal AI then in the newest Pokemon game lol.
I'm definitely excited! Brilliant Diamond looks like a fateful Remake with new features, while Legends looks like a fresh and unique game similar to Breath of the Wild! People gotta understand that Legends ain't a Gen 9 game. Ranked will probably return when a more stable format is solidified. It's always rough when it's a first gen product but at least it's something
Arceus looks so incredibly rough, it's a game releasing in 2022 and looks like a 2010 game. You look at BotW, a game from 2017 on the Wii U and it looks much, much better.
Ahhhg 🙈🙈🙈 I've been getting more hate than ever for being honest about what I'm seeing and your comment about BotW is exactly it! I don't think people remember that BotW looks similar but also better than Arceus yet it's a Wii U game from 2017! It's okay to want better in 2021 and we should be asking for it! If we don't they'll continue to do the bare minimum because we reinforced it. :(

I'm not a graphics expert, but it does look like they upped the bloom on both the remakes and the new game. Either way Pokemon is a billion dollar franchise, they can afford to spend a bit more time and money making the games look less like GameCube and Wii ports up-rezed into HD. Link's Awakening looked way better than this, and Zelda isn't as popular.

The graphics looks like trash to me, they're really low poly and non-polished. It's a total joke that it looks this bad when its 2021, how bout that haters.
