Cleetus, if you are ever anywhere that you feel someone might try and steal Leroy, back the trailer up to a pole or tree so nobody can get the ramp down.. I'v dealt with those issues for years, and once i started backing up to a tree, i had no more issues.. Peace!

A RV is the best way if you travel and race a lot. I raced 10 years with mine. Saved a ton of time on avoiding driving to and from hotels, home and back on local track racing on racing weekends. Mileage was pretty bad 6 mpg, and the caring for basically a large truck and house at same time takes a lot.
Best morning ever, wake up to track radio jammin, race cars warming up, smell of traction compound being sprayed, race gas and bacon being cooked.

Lol. The RV was not the racing vehicle. It was part of the racing operation. I did however race my scooters and before the RV came along the tow truck. Usually the dragster was the primary vehicle for competition. To run under 10's? Not really sure how you figure the RV ran under 10's. (BTW, the local track said I could not run it. I did ask once.)
That and swtiching off drivers means zero downtime.

Brand new was $263K. So it really was a good deal with only 35K miles on it.

you got one/cool .. I just got mine finished up , I want to trade it in and get something smaller , mines a 31ft class c .07 gulf stream. Expect everytime you take it out something will break. like the awning did . expect gell cell batterys to last only one year and 2 weeks . I haven't tried the optima motorhome battery but hear its better. you may have noticed places like the track people don't use their generator much but they run off a smaller honda or similar gen , then plug off that .. its just that the house system through the gell cell cant keep up , you will wake up in the morning and everything will be dead . if the place where your at has a place to plug in, your ok. one more thing , my motorhome drives real smooth around 74 MPH(8 mpg) .. but if you slow it down ,just some like 62 MPH (13 mpg) the gas mileage gets good .the first day I got mine was on January 10th and it was -20 out , and knee deep snow -we camped with and BBQed with 3 snowmobiles -used a plastic sled to collect firewood - good times
Cletus I have a Diplomat !😀 I bought mine in August. I had a problem with my windshields coming loose on the top outside corners, had some roof leaks after someone hit my coach that's what knocked my windshields loose I pushed them back into place and glued them in the levelers actually can twist your frame and pop out your windows there's 3 jacks 1 in front and 2 in the back this twists the frame if leveling on a uneven surface. , Put a small heater in the water fill drain cabinet, check icebox if anti freeze heater is connected to icebox water line

Isaac Fuentes hell yeah brother! RV's are a pain in the ass to wrap and it ain't cheap just like wrapping normally isn't cheap for anything. But I'm sure he would do it. If he gets a new truck I hope he puts a freedom wrap on it and call it Chandler
I'm 6'3" so you must have 7' ceilings which means I'd be able to walk through it too. Nice! I hate the one my folks had. So small I cracked my head in everything. Hated even going in it. I know people that raised kids living in one of those. Back and forth to the river, here and there visiting family but went to the same school all their lives like anyone in a house. Nice ride! You can live in that one a long time. Is it all season? Get some solar panels and make it so if not. Bad thing about them is having to secure them for winter. If you can just keep using it though it's that much easier.
I really like it! I like your honesty the most! You didn't have to show us the (I can't remember now) air bag? blow out, but you did. This is a GREAT RV for even 2018, much less 2008. Amazing! Great video.

You did great! We bought our A class very young and have made so many memories. Pretty funny to see retired people stare at us when we pulled in with tiny kids. Dry camp always run fridge on propane. Can’t run generator constant.💕

People forget that they are houses driving down the road at 70mph, something’s always going to be breaking or falling apart, but you and your crew are handy enough to be alright.
I’m sure in your research you know about license requirements for the weight, but I do think you’re over length for several states when hooked to the trailer. I think 65’ combined is generally the limit. Of course you don’t have to stop at weight points so this really only becomes an issue if you’re doing something stupid and get pulled over. Travel safe!

Check her tires. Because there's a tire made by Goodyear I believe, which is notorious for blowing out with no warning or reason. Do a little research on what type of tire it is just to make sure y'all are safe 😂

Do not use Goodyears on the front axle. Do Not use Michelines on a front axle. Use Yokahama or Coolers or Generals. They do not blow out as quick or as bad. They are rated to drive 70mph and above.
Tip of the Month .....Love your channel,Im one of your oldest fans.I grew up in Southern Calif and now live in Florida,A little tip for Leroy.. I suggest you use phenolic sheet isolators on Leroys ,Cooper,etc fuel rails and or any place the fuel system is metal on metal.cut them out of sheet phenolic.This can drop fuel rail temps as much as 50 degrees and helps with hot soaks.The idea is to isolate the fuel components ,so that heat isn't conducted to the fuel rails,etc from other hot engine and or hot car components.I would use as much gold insulation,insulating foils,etc as I could afford.Heat is the enemy,keep the heat in the engine,not on the external ignition,fuel parts.You might also isolate any coil packs,computers mounted on metal.Hope this cheap fix helps keep Leroy running strong....
