    Great to see Mr Kelly. Such a nice and great guy,always time to have a chat. When watching your videos make’s me want to dip my toes in the water again. No time to give the birds the proper attention they need. A very nice bird room you have there Mr Kelly have a great breeding season.

    Cheers Matt. That was a fantastic episode. Terry is a true legend. Some great tips to consider from his birdroom. I think us birdkeepers like to overdo it at the best of times. Basics are all that is required. Nice One!!!

    Mat that was a very enjoyable video Terry's setup is just stunning and he gave me some great advice on the wild moss and the cotton wool for the canaries nesting materials I'll try that method nx yr 👍

    Great video full of enthusiasm after all those years of bird keeping ,love the birdroom ,any information regarding the lights terry is using are they led or fluorescent would be interested to know what they are

      @@TheCanaryRoom thankyou Matt having issues with my birds moulting and I’m thinking it’s the type of lights I’m useing led strip lights not led tubes

      @@barra2959 if I was you Brian I'd bin the led strip lights and try adding more natural light bigger or more windows and full glass panel doors keep it natural as soon as you start using artificial lighting the problem your having is more likely to arise.

      @@Finch5460 hi george i understand where your coming from with the lights but i need them to feed and water before work ,the shed is too dark without lights have never had problem untill last year when i changed from arcadia tubes ,mr kelly as lights on for breeding with out issue and he as far more natual light than i do

    I Loved watching this page on canary's, I would like to ask anyone who ready this question without creating any problems for myself or any one else ok, Is there anyone out there can tell me the where abouts of Malcolm Barnett formally of the west midlands and was last seen and hear'd of near cleethorpes, I know he went into partnership with a Tom Brown a builder, once again i hope this request doesnt cause any problems, Sincererley George Thompson.

    I can't understand how anyone can be proud of keeping animals in such cramped, boring accomodation. Especially birds. The canary at the start could barely fit in the bath, the birds have one place to fly and that's their life.

      Unfortunately it would seem that your understanding of the domestication of canaries is narrow. The birds in these shows do not exist in wild form they are, like cats, dogs, cattle, sheep,chickens etc essentially created by selected breeding over centuries. A bird will bath in the smallest of drops of water, the birds in these videos have access to large flight cages throughout the year, have the best food that can be purchased and are looked after by people who genuinely care for them
